My wife and I stayed in the Gold Room for two days. The room is beautifully done, but the best part is the view. It had an unbelievable view of the Piazza Signoria and the Palazzo Vecchio. I don't think there is another room in the city that has this kind of view. Pay the extra money and stay in... More

Very friendly and helpful staff (special thanks to Constanza and Pamela), large and well furbished rooms and very quiet if you get a room to the back like us. We really loved the place and can easily recommend it to anybody who likes to stay in the very centre of a busy city (Piazza Signoria). If you go to Florence... More

Not too sure what perfect is, but this place was spot in terms of accommodations, staff, location, and what can one say about the Gold Room, just wow! We were a bit concerned with our arrival time (late afternoon) and with some of the other comments about getting access to the room. And while there was a minute there where... More

You could ask for a better location situated where it is in the Piazza della Signoria and just a few steps away from the Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi, and just around the corner from the Duomo. The rooms at the Soggiorno are spacious, comfortable and clean only lacking in coffee making facilities. However as restaurants and cafés abound just outside this... More

Location, location, location. I spent more than 5 hours searching for the place to stay in Florence. The first thing you find is nothing is cheap unless you really want to stay in a hostel! I too read the reviews below and agree with most of what has been written. Room 5 was large, clean with a big bathroom. It... More

For our 3rd visit to Florence we chose Soggiorno Antic Torre and we could not have had a better experience. Our room was large, bathroom cozy but appointed well, close to everything via foot and the staff were terrific and helpful with booking concert reservations, eating suggestions and arranging for a cab pick up service to the train station when... Lovely room & hotel, perfectly located, meticulously clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Wifi was excellent. Couldn't be happier! Visitors should note that there is no sign for the hotel - one just rings the bell for number 3 at the door.

Well, you walk out the front door of the hotel and are right in the Piazza. Fountain of Neptune off on your right, and a bunch of curious diners in the street-side restaurants looking at you, envious at your choice location in the city. Completely nondescript front door, looks like it could very well be the entrance to an apartment... More

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful. The location couldn't be better. The living area is up 30 plus steps. Then you need to take a short elevator ride up to the rooms. Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. The Soggiorno Antica Torre is located in the heart of the city, in the most famous piazza in Florence: the Piazza Signoria. The pensione winds around the central part of an ancient tower from the XI century. Almost all the rooms have original ceilings and beams. The floors are oak wood.
