My rating is actually between 3-4. The hotel room was small and quiet dark, until you open up the shutters, but then you get some noise from the street, but it was'nt too bad, even though we were on the lst floor. The staff were...More
If you are planning to visit Florence and are trying to stay within a certain budget then I would recommend Hotel Eden. It is located on Via Nazionale, about 5 minutes walk away from the Santa Maria Novella train station, 2 minute walk away from...More
The main attractions in Florence are within walking distance as is the train station, restaurants and leather and apparel markets. My room was the smallest I have ever lived in but yet the most "feel at peace" experience, having all the basics in place apart...More
Great location! Walkable to everything in the city. Very close to train station. Walkable, even with big luggage. Only issue is noise, since you are close to everything. Bring earplugs in case you are not able to get a room away from the street.

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
