We originally booked the Maison de Charme, the check in for Maison de Charme is Hotel Ester. When we checked in the attendant said he would upgrade us to Hotel Ester. We were given the top floor room which had an excellent view of the Duomo! The room set up was unusual, upon entering the room door, the bathroom is...

We stayed at Hotel Ester for 3 nights and it exceeded all of our expectations! Marco, the hotel owner went out of his way to accommodate our needs and even went above and beyond to make us a special breakfast. The rooms are newly renovated. Very spacious and very clean. The shower is large, especially compared to other Italian hotels....

We rented two rooms for our family trip there in May 2016. The hotel is a short walk from the train station. The hotel manager is one of the hardest working and accommodating hosts I've ever met. We booked Maison de charme, but the booking said Hotel Ester. So we arrived at Hotel Ester and the manager took us across...

Hotel Ester is not a grand luxury hotel with grand features. It is a very nice three star hotel. Very comfortable beds, nice modern bathrooms, and clean. Marco will provide you with friendly banter in the morning along side your coffee, tea, juice, sandwich, or pastry. He makes a croissant with his secret weapon chocolate spread. I stayed there with...

It is no more than a 5 minute walk with suitcases from the central railway station. What takes time is crossing the streets. It was our lucky day as we were given a large...

My wife and I spent a week in Hotel Ester with six good friends from 6 January to 13 January 2016. We were all happy with the hotel, and would gladly stay there the next time we visit Florence. Ester is a perfect place to stay for tourists visiting Florence due to its location just a five minutes walk from...
