Guess my disappointment when our window was recessed & I had no view of the bridge. That said, the staff were brilliant, the room was fine, breakfast at a local bar was excellent & everything...

The hotel and staff were just wonderful! I had several questions about our reservation, and they replied promptly and courteously by email, in English. Staff were very helpful, booked a museum for us last minute, gave us suggestions for dinner. Convenient location! So close to Ponte Vecchio and the Train station. We walked everywhere easily. The hotel is under renovation,...

Excellent location. Room with french doors overlooking Arno River well worth extra expense. Very helpful staff answered our questions, made reservations and even helped us transfer photos to our tablet one evening. Historic building. Great selection of food at breakfast. Some street noise at night.

This hotel is in a building on the Arno. While our room we had did not have much of a view, the lounge looks out at the Arno. The location is within easy distance of the train and sights in Florence. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful with suggestions. Breakfast is at a nearby restaurant. Some interesting items did...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
