Our stay at Hotel Burchianti was great! They made us feel like family. Their suggestions made our trip more enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again upon returning to Florence. The accommodations were comfortable and the frescoes amazing. We were especially pleased with the location which made everything close at hand. There's a buzzer to get in that is located right...

What a great little Hotel the Hotel Burchianti is...super convenient location near the train station and right by San Lorenzo and the market. The proprietors, Mario and Signora Rela couldn't be more lovely and nice. Mario is super helpful and speaks very good English,he is a real local who knows Florence like the back of his hand! The rooms are...

I was a little intimidated when I finally located the entrance to this hotel...an imposing old buiding with big tightly locked doors. But the welcome I received from the hotel's extremely friendly manager Mario (and his son later on) put me at ease immediately. The room was amazingly Florentine with frescoed ceilings, the only drawback being not much natural light...

Only a few minutes walk from the train station, we found the street easily. And then we waked up and down looking for the place until we realized there is no conventional hotel foyer. Look for the worn brass plate and yes, there is a number 8 outside but easily missed. Press the buzzer and the security gate will be...

This is a great location , especially if you are travelling by rail . Only blocks from the rail station . An easy walk to attractions and down to the river . Would suggest their street identification should be better . Pay attention , their name is on their intercom system . Also try to book a room on the...

This was our second visit to the Burchianti and we will be back next September. Our favorite hotel in Florence. Owner friendly and he provides great advice on restaurants and places to go. Entrance is through a locked gate and an elevator to the next floor up.

room 10. Large room with vaulted ceilings and frescoes. Air conditioning worked great. Bathrooom and room were both clean and functional. The whole place is really charming and has old-style touches that make it really feel like you are in italy. The staff was nice and helpful in making reservations for us at the museums in advance or our trip,...

Finding the right button to call the front desk from the street (Via del Giglio) was the most difficult part, and only because you are distracted from being in such a new and beautiful area. The service was great the the complimentary breakfast in the morning was very nice.

I have meant to post a review for Burchianti the day after we left. As it turned out, we did not have the use of the Internet for the last leg of our European trip until I got home. We stayed with the Burchianti for 2 nights and were truly grateful for their service rendered. The gentleman and the old...

We traveled from Rome to Florence by train and had booked a room at Burchianti. The location is ideal and we were easily able to walk from the station (with luggage) to the hotel. Walking up to the gate and being buzzed into the hotel was so charming!! From Burchianti, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere. So easy! We...
