We stayed at Hotel Accademia for three nights. Our room, if not fancy, was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel was located within walking distance of the train station as well as the center of the city and all the major museums and markets. The best part though was that the staff was very friendly and helpful. They...

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel the first time was 3 years ago. Both times we found the hotel to be clean and with a lot of character. The breakfast was a complete European breakfast and filling. The hotel staff make this a very pleasant experience. You can see that they take great pride in...

We selected this hotel randomly, after reading some reviews on TripAdvisor. We were SO glad we did! Of the 3 hotels in our little "Tour of Italy", this was, by far, our favorite!!! I was traveling with my 28 year old son, and I emailed the hotel ahead of time to ask if they would make reservations at The Accademia...

Our room at Hotel Accademia was clean and plenty large enough. The front desk staff were cheerful. The breakfast was just so-so. Be aware that this hotel has a curfew of 1am, though we stayed in the off season, maybe it's later during peak season.

Good hotel located next door to the Medici Chapels. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean and cozy and no-frills. Next to San Lorenzo church and on the streets, there is an interesting outdoor market that operates nearby in the daytime, where you can by souvenirs and leather goods. Easy ten minute walk to the Duomo and Baptistry, and Plaza...

I stayed here with a Rick Steves tour. The hotel is in a pretty good location, within walking distance to the main city center and other attractions. Our room was large but on the very top floor which was quite a walk up many stairs, so you might want to think about requesting a room on the lower levels. There...

This room has a great location, being a couple of blocks from both the train station and the Duomo. It was clean and the room is relatively good sized. The bathroom is quite small, but normal by local standards. The shower was simply a curtain pull around and a floor drain in the bathroom. It was convenient and worked fine....

We arrived Hotel Accademia on 24 Apr 09 and stayed for 3 nights. It was located about 15mins walk from the train station. Therefore, quite a good location. However, the room is dark, has outdated furniture and a weird smell. Well, for its price, that should be the condition..can't expect too much. The reception is located on the 2nd level...

We stayed May 20-23 and found the hotel to be a good value for the location. Rick Steves had a group staying here so it is still popular with his touring company. We were traveling with our two adult daughters and our first night we got dumped into a quad as they had a "problem" with one of our double...

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. I stayed here 6 years ago and remembered it being a good value in a great location with a good included breakfast. When I booked I was surprised how much the per night cost had gone up, even in 6 years it had jumped quite a bit compared to other hotels...
