. It was very hot and humid air con in rooms ok. Breakfast ok. I guess there are rooms overlooking the street, however. Mine was overlooking the little service courtyard. Almost no light. Good value if ur staying up to two nights. Close to everything, SMN train station just scroll away. Very handy location to explore Florence on foot.

The hotel offers everything you need for a city trip to Florence. Its great location is unbeatable due to its central situation. Its not too busy but you reach all sightseeings in the old town very easily by walking. The central train station is just around the corner (max. 7 min walking distance). The rooms are basic, efficient and clean....

The hotel is near to plenty of restaurants and shops. In fact you can settle down to a drink and a meal right outside the front door. It is a short walk from the main train station and it an easy 6-7minutes walk to the Duomo and all the other sights of central Florence. The rooms are good and quite...

This hotel is situated right in the hustle and bustle of Florence and surrounded by heaps of great restaurants and shops. For those of you needing to do Laundry, there's a laundromat about 30 seconds walk down the road. There's no elevator in the hotel but we were lucky enough to be on the first floor (which still involved walking...

Good hotel with average facities. The hotel has no lift and we had slight difficulty carrying all bags.good staff and good beddings. They need to do a complete ovehaul as this hotel looks pretty old and all furniture worn out.But good budget hotel for a comfortable stay.

Hotel Accademia is in an old building in the heart of old Florence. I had heard it used to be an old school. Inside its a bit of a maze of hallways and stairways and quite beautiful. The rooms are nice and have en suite bathrooms. Air conditioning worked well. They serve a breakfast each morning that was very nice.

We will remember the Hotel Accademia for its central location to the main sights in Florence... AND for the 1 earplug-free night of sleep we got there during a 17-day Rick Steve's 'Best of Italy' tour in May... and the other in which, despite earplugs, we were serenaded 'til 2 am by a neighborhood rock band. As every room is...

Spent one night here on my way to San Gimignano for a wedding. Wanted something economical but nice. There are many choices in Florence but this gamble was worth it.. Pros: -Slightly away from the plaza Duomo - makes it feel like you are in a quiet neighborhood but only 2 blocks from all the action. -You are above several...

We had booked the Hotel Accademia through Booking.com and on contacting the hotel they asked us to pay the advance for the stay. We paid 100% money upfront based on their confirmation and they even asked us to go ahead and cancel the booking.com reservation so they can confirm the booking directly with us. Later 2 days before the stay...

We had a great stay at Hotel Accademia, we were greeted by the lovely receptionist who ran downstairs to carry our bags, and made us coffee at the bar after our long detour to get to Florence . No lift and quite a few stairs, but we had no problem. Great room overlooking a small courtyard, not many power point,...
