Pros: - Right next to the Duomo - Close to the train station Co ns: - No wifi (in 2015, this is a must!!) - Have to pay cash (was not indicated at the moment of the booking..) - The owner insist on keeping the keys. Which means every time you leave you have to give her your keys and...

Still interested? I've stayed in a lot of places around Europe, this is one of the worst. Difficult to sleep as its on the third level with no air con, the owner was very abrupt and was not happy when we arrived home at 1.01 for a 1am curfew... Didn't feel like a holiday! Also has no wifi access at...

Still reading? Okay. The hotel has a fantastic location but that's it. No refrigerator. No wifi. No air conditioning. We stayed for 3 nights and never received fresh towels. 1 am curfew. It is super bare bones. I would not recommend this hotel.

Unforgettable stay in this pensione in the heart of Florence! Best value for money compared to other much more expensive spots! Located next to the duomo; if you want information don't hesitate to ask; someone is always there to answer and help you; not one of those places where the hotel is completely uattended to and where you have to...

We stayed here for three nights and it was great! The hotel is in the centre of the town and only a short walk from the train station. There is great security, two doors you buzz to get in and the owner keeps your keys as you go out. There are some stairs to get into the hotel, however i...

I had some initial concerns about this place and almost canceled my nonrefundable reservation after reading the reviews about the creepy owner. Yes, it's true there are cameras everywhere, you can't take your keys with you when you leave (requiring an exchange EVERY time you come or go), and you have to be home by 1 a.m. However, the owner...

We had a tiny room with very basic furnishings and a sink (the bathroom was shared), but clean and quiet. The lady manager provided excellent hospitality. We truly enjoyed visiting this magnificent city.

This is a small family owned place with only 6 rooms. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The only downsides was there is no wifi and no breakfast. Other than that it was a great stay!

Hotel Canada was one of the best and cutest places I've stayed in. It was so close to everything--sites to see in either direction and only a block from the Duomo. I felt as though I had been adopted by the woman who runs the hotel, as she opened the door and said, "Welcome Home" whenever we arrived. The two...

This hotel was very close to the main part of Florence, which meant that the street was quite noisy. Living in a big (noisy) city ourselves, we weren't bothered too much, but if you're used to quiet sleeping conditions, you might be in for a surprise. It was really convenient in regard to getting around though. The bathroom for some...

“Some rooms have private bathrooms, some are shared (the shared ones at least have a sink though). We were on the side facing the street and it was quite noisy, not sure about noise levels in other rooms. Up 3 flights of stairs, so make sure you have good knees (I didn't see an elevator - don't think there was one)”
