Its just outside of the ZTL zone so you can drive to it. Still you are bang in the midst of the historic city - everything is walking distance from the hotel. Its an amazing old conversion overlooking the river. From the windows you can see the replica of "David" by the famous Michelangelo. Its amazing to watch the river...

These are around 6-7 serviced apartments on the 3rd floor of a building. The apartment is located in a quiet area with lovely views of Piazzale Michaelangelo and the Arno river. The apartment was furnished very well. The kitchen has all the appliances that you would need. The apartment is cleaned every alternate day which is a big pro. The wifi...

When I was researching hotels, I wanted an apartment near the major attractions with a kitchen facility and washer/dryer as I was traveling for one week with my 7 year old son and didn't want to carry a lot of luggage. Rather than staying at a hotel, I wanted to have the ability to make coffee and toast in the...

If you are looking for an affordable alternative to the formula hotels, in a beautiful historic building, located in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Florence, with stunning views of Piazzale Michaelangelo and the Arno river, but within a 15 minute walk of all the main sights, then look no further! We couldn't fault the apartment,...

We stayed 5 nights here and found the room well equipped for making basic meals, a good bed and shower. The views from our window over the Arno river were delightful. The location is great and only took 15 minutes to get into the heart of Florence, which meant we could go out and back easily. There are restaurants only...

Florence View Apartments are an excellent and above all affordable alternative for massively overpriced hotels in the city center of Florence. Spotlessly clean and well maintained luxury apartments on the top floor of a chic residence on the banks of the Arno river. Located in a quiet residential area on walking distance of the hustle and bustle of the center...

We recently stayed at Florence View. The apartment was very comfortable for 4 persons. It had a loft with 2 single beds for the kids. It had a great view of Piazza Michelangelo and is convenient for visits across the canal as well as the city centre. It's also surrounded by lots of lovely restaurants. The apartments are on the...

We stayed here in June 2014. The apartments were great and you're in the centre of Florence, close to the Ponte Vecchio (see pic)! We would definitely recommend if you want to go self catering. The staff had great knowledge of all the wonderful restaurants and bars close by. It's a great base to explore the truly wonderful city that...

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Whilst not a view of the city, the view from the windows of our apartment looking across the river were great and very romantic. This was a little way away from the centre, near to Santa Croce, but Florence is so small, that doesn't matter. We had a VERY comfortable bed...

FVA was a great place to stay for a first time visitor. We don't mind walking on holiday and this was probably only 15 mins from the Duomo. Similar time to the Ponte Vecchio and in total prob a 30 min walk to the Bobolin Gardens. The apartment itself was magnificent. Spacious, airconditioned (although we used the open windows instead)...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Florence View Suites & Apartments proposes the exclusive hospitality of an historic residence in a stylish palace splendidly located in the historical centre of Florence - the Renaissance Birth-City - yet easily reachable by car, starting point for stupefying and exciting discoveries. Merged in the atmosphere of the Monumental centre, Florence View Suites & Apartments is the perfect location to live the spirit of the City, either for a lovely holiday or for a business trip. The prestigious suites, placed at the upper floor of the palace (with elevator), in front of the Arno river, faces the green silhouette of the hills that crown Florence and the sky-line of the imposing monuments which stand out of the roofs, nearly within reach: the Allure of Florence can be tasted as much diving in the crowded streets of the city-centre as longing for quiet in the warm intimacy of our rooms. ... more   less
