We enjoyed our one night stay at Villa Neroli after a long journey from the USA. The clean and quant hotel is located outside of the city center and offers many modern amenities.

We dined at a nearby restaurant - Enoteca Il Grappolo which we highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic, Tuscan experience (short 6 min walk from hotel) and enjoyed morning coffee at a nearby Pasticceria - Cesare (4 euro for 2 Americanos).

Our taxi from Florence airport was $40 euros and our taxi into the city center was $20 (hotel goers do have the option to take the bus from the hotel into the city center as an alternative).

For those comfortable being on the outskirts of the city, this is a great option with onsite dining, large spacious rooms with complementary in room water and nespresso coffee.

This hotel is perfectly situated on the outskirts of Florence, and it is easy to get into the city using the local buses.
It has been recently refurbished which is evident as soon as you arrive. We had a standard double but it was of a very high standard - very comfy king size bed, modern bathroom, and it was surprisingly a very spacious room.

The pool area is lovely and extremely welcome on hot days. The pool bar and restaurant serve decent meals, we enjoyed the salads especially. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff were so kind and helpful, they couldn’t do more for you.
We loved this hotel and would absolutely return to stay in the future.

It is true what they say, the people make the place! Very helpful front of house team, dedicating time with guests, genuine smile and interest.
Can't say the same for the breakfast team, very disconnected, chit-chatting during service, felt rushed, table cleared mid breakfast.
The dinner service needs a bit of work too, menu not too good and not particular Tuscan, and the food was incredibly salty.
The Housekeeping team needs a little bit more attention to detail, failed to replenish our tea/coffee station, floor was not swept during the stay.
The bed was the highlight of our stay, soooooooo comfortable!
Thank you to Ricardo, Lydia, Umberto and Nicoleta for being so lovely and genuine as well as for their inputs and help throughout our stay!

I checked in on Sep. 2022 and everything seemed fine, until I left the property and came back. There are not enough parking for all the rooms and if you come back after 7pm the hotel will ask you to find parking on random streets.

BTW, you should know that finding parking on streets of Florence is daunting task! Also, the safety of your car/rental car will be at risk too. The hotel reps are very combative and impolite. If I knew this ahead of time, I would never book this place!

P.S. I called Expedia and they are NOT any help at all and this is after over $15,000 worth different booking that I have had with them on this trip alone!!! So I would NEVER Book through Expedia in the future. Hope this help.

I cannot speak highly enough about Villa Neroli and its staff! We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but extended our stay to 3. The rooms are clean and fresh with great aircon (it was 33c outside). The pool area with its small snackbar was a wonderful place to enjoy a poolday and read a book with an aperol spritz in hand. The gym was a positive surprise, and we were very kindly upgraded for our last night.

There were some mixups with dinner orders in the restaurant both days, but the kind staff made up for that.

I would recommend Villa Neroli to anybody travelling by car, looking to enjoy a relaximg time in Tuscany!

Just returned from a week stay here and so glad I chose it. It's an elegant but not stuffy hotel, beautifully clean with lovely newly renovated rooms, gorgeous bathrooms, perfect beds, a fabulous pool area, amazing breakfasts/food and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Thank you for all your help everyone!

It's in a quiet, safe area about 20 mins out of town, and on a bus route than works brilliantly during the day (route 17). Found it tricky to get a bus at night back to the Hotel, but if you factor in the cost of cabs (20 Euro), it's perfect.

(Not that this is a negative, but worth knowing in case it's important to you - while there is Sky on the TV, there's no English channels other than a news channel, which is a shame if you want a quiet night recovering from walking. Not sure why they don't have that as there were plenty of English speaking visitors there).

I chose this hotel so I could do a city break with relaxing hotel/pool days too, and be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and this was perfect. I was also travelling alone and was very comfortable there. If you don't mind the distance (you wont go into town for the day, then back to the hotel to change for dinner and then back to town again - you'll just stay in town for the evening), don't hesitate, book it!

Situated away from the hustle and bustle of a Florence on steroids ( even in late September) this was a quiet and serene getaway.

The grounds were gorgeous. It has gardens all the way around. We ate breakfast in the garden every morning. The breakfasts were wonderful. We were told breakfasts at the hotels were nothing to speak of. Not so! They had everything. You could actually squeeze your own fresh juice. They were all you could ask for.

Great food in the restaurant. We actually had the greatest hamburgers ever. I know that’s terrible to ask for a hamburger in Italy. But it was 5:30 and we had not eaten all day and they made us cheeseburgers that were to die for.

The rooms were large and clean and quiet and comfortable. Great showers and water pressure.

The staff was accommodating and, for the three days we were there, went above and beyond.

This simply a hidden Jem in Florence .the hotel is in a quieter area of Florence the hotel is very beautiful with the most welcoming reception they can fluently speak multiple languages including Arabic . It’s very close to the train station . There’s a big market in walking distance and a small local pizza /pasta diner in walking distance in which we had the best pizza in Italy there . Our r

We absolutely enjoyed our time in Florence. Villa Nerolli is a very nice, cozy hotel.
The rooms are excellent ( high ceilings, comfortable, clean and modern).
The breakfast was very nice.
The dinner was tasty but without a great variety of dishes to choose in the menu.

We had a suite which is a bedroom with a small bathroom and an entry room with a desk and a convertible sofa that is separated by a door. The view is picture perfect Tuscan countryside. The wooden details such as the black out shutters and moldings are exquisite and show the care with which this hotel was converted from a monastery. Nice breakfast, free parking, easy location to go everywhere.
