We stayed here for three nights in a room that included a loft. There were three of us in the room so that it was very convenient as far as having privacy. I just wish the loft had somewhere to hang clothes. But it had a single bed and a sofa and was pretty spacious. The location is great; 5...

The Hotel is very well positioned, and we get a full apartment, the decoration old, but very well preserved, there is a strange smell in the public areas. The location is the best you can get. The staff was very helpful, in all our requests.

I shared the Baroncelli Apartment with a friend for 6 nights in November, 2016. The apartment building is located directly across the entrance to the hotel. The smell of sewage upon entering the apartment building was stomach churning and was present every day. I would try to hold my breath upon entering the ground floor of the building until I...

So convenient to everything, and enabled us to pop by the room and drop off packaged, change shoes, etc. quite easily. Just a short walk to the bridges, shopping, etc. We ended up having to walk to the train station because of a marathon blocking the roads, and it was doable. Breakfast is fine, rooms are fine but sometimes get...

Small property in the center of Florence just around the corner from the Uffizi Museum and a few blocks from Ponte Vecchio. Location was ideal. Our room was spacious though looked at an alley. The commons living room was comfortable and spacious and looked over the amazing Piazza del Signoria. Breakfast was tasty with an array of bread, pastries, yogurt,...

The Relais Uffizi was a clean, quiet hotel literally just steps away from the Piazza del Signore. We were in the Annex, which necessitated climbing a steep flight of stairs before reaching the elevator. The bathroom was well equipped and clean. Breakfast offered many choices and the service was good. We really appreciated that the staff were able to obtain...

Great location (once you find it) with a breakfast room over looking the Pizza della Signoria. Next door to the Uffizi Gallery. Based on a tip from a review we read we told the taxi driver "Pizza del Saltereli" and he knew just where to take us and he knew where the hotel was. (3 minute walk from taxi drop...

Yes, the hotel is hard to find but worth every extra second of effort. The rooms are well-kept, including the apartment across the alley, which was perfect for our family of four. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful and even loaned us an extra Euro-to-U.S. power converter when we needed one. Plus, the view...

Hard to find the "front" door---we walked from the train station--- (if you've been to Italy's cities, you understand), but once there, you are in the middle of the tourist area. The living/sitting room of the hotel overlooks the Plaza Della Signora. Easy walk to most, if not all, of the major tourist destinations. Uffizi Art Museum is literally right...

This hotel is in the tiny walkway on the side of the Uffizi. The taxi will drop you off in a back alley which is very close to the door...just a little strange at first! The front door is secure and you have to ring to go up. The rooms are spread out over several floors with a few stairs...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
