I spent three nights there with friends and we have been surprised by the low quality of this hostels. Rooms don't offer private wardrobe, bathrooms are incredibly small and dust is covering everything. Management is even worst, unusual rules such to leave the room between 10 and 2pm. Hostel manager did not want to give us keys to each one...

Beds didn't have lights or plugs, nearest plugs by the door and if the dorm was full there wouldn't be enough for everyone, we didn't have a problem though. Showers sometimes cold. Lockers are a bit stiff and I had trouble now opening mine. Other than this it's a great hostel, nice big common room area making it easy to...

I found BEDBUGS (Italian: CIMICI) in beds in two different rooms of this hostel Santa Monaca! They caused me terrible skinproblems!!! Although the staff was friendly in offering me another room and washing my clothes, I found again bedbugs in the new room. The staff had quickly inspected (while I was there) the bed and quickly cleaned, but bedbugs spread...

This hostel in two words: old and neglected. The rooms definitely could look better. They were clean but the furniture - beds & lockers - were old. Plus for nice, clean bathrooms and nice staff. It was relatively cheap but for such a low standard, I’d say still overpriced.

The location of the hostel is perfect, approximately 10min. of walking distance from Duomo de Santa Maria. Rooms are clean and sheets are being changed every day. Kitchen is ok, stove is a bit slow to boil the water and is a bit problematic when there are more people cooking. Supermarket is right next to the hostel. In any case,...

It was a very nice stay, honest price in the center of venice, nice people that work there and a very nice bike rental deal that you should take. Bathrooms working with no greater problems. A nice small balcony between the bildings that some may call terrace. But overall a nice enjoyd stay

Stayed at Santa Monica with a friend for a total of 3 nights. We had read in previous reviews about the lack of air con but found it difficult to find 2 beds in a good location so decided that we would be fine. Yea the room was really hot and sweaty but baiting we couldn't handle. The rooms are...
