Noisy room, no hot water on second day. Unfriendly staff ( lady looking after breakfast didn't smile once and just grunted and pointed) when asked if we could have a beer at the bar we were told that was what the mini bar was for! Would not recommend staying there even though ideally suited for main attractions. Decor is tired...

Gorgeous rustic-style hotel, decked out with wooden furniture, vases of flowers and the cutest little breakfast dining room you've ever seen! Very friendly and helpful staff, and really well located, walking distance to the train station, the popular museums, piazzas, shopping, food etc. Can't go wrong with this little gem... it is situated on a busy street so traffic noise...

The rooms are actually pretty big for Italy...bed was a bit stiff, but not bad. Rooms were clean, and the included breakfast was good. You're a short walk from downtown and the Duomo, the Florence Market, and the staff was very informative. Also very close to the train terminal. Good for a short to mid term stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights, from check in to check out, everything was smooth. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, wifi is excellent. Hotel staff are very friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. All the sights of Florence are at a walking distance, and 7 mins walk from the main train station. Would...

What's good: Room size,we were five, the room had an appropriate size. The beds are comfortable. Staff was friendly. Location is good, 5 min walk to train station walking distance from main attractions. What's fair: Everything seems old including the building. Cleanliness very superficial. Breakfast not so good. No ventilation in bathroom. What's bad: Very noisy. We could hear the...

Good area. About a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. Staff were lovely. Room was basic but I suppose you get what you pay for. Also in prime location to the train station as it's on the main street (Via Nazionale). Only problem we had were that we were woken up by ridiculously noisy neighbours who decided to was a...

We planned a quick trip to Florence to explore the city. Hotel Galileo is a short walk from SMN train station and located close enough to the center of the city. It is conveniently located on an avenue with many shops and bars for all of your needs. The staff was extremely accommodating and considerate. We were able to check-in...

This hotel really suited us. The location is brilliant- 10 minutes walk from the train station and all the main sights. Staff spoke good English and were helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious for a European city hotel and also very clean. Bed was comfortable. Small TV with a few English channels. The bathroom was clean and big...

We stayed here last week and were very happy. The hotel is only 10mins walk from the train station and about the same from the Duomo. The room we had was comfortable and had a good bathroom and a little balcony with a small table and two chairs. The breakfast was good, although there weren't so many things to choose...
