My husband and I stayed here last weekend during a trip to Florence. We had been in Rome for a couple of weeks and just traveled to Florence for the last weekend. This location is amazing. Very quick walk from the train station. Florence is quite small and walkable and this hotel is very central to everything. The rooms are...

Nothing much to look at from the outside, but the inside/rooms were fantastic! The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood yet steps away from everything you come to Florence for. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was in a perfect location for sightseeing in Florence and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We booked a quad room for our family w 2 teenagers and were very pleasantly surprised upon checkin that we were given two double rooms for the same price-wonderful to have two bathrooms! Rooms were very large with nice bathrooms and...

Nice original antique furniture, very comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Great location. Nice view from the top terrace. Very nice modern bathroom, only minor point was that there were no handles to get into or out of the bath, which is uncomfortable for older people. We would recommend this hotel.

We have stayed in many hotels in Europe...Tornabuoni Beacci will not disappoint. The staff is amazing...professional, kind, and very well informed. By European standards the rooms are quite grand in size. We are a family of three and had a large master bedroom with ensuite and our daughter had a smaller bedroom with her own bathroom in the hall...the hotel...

I couldn't wish for a better hotel. The suit was specious and clean, the breakfast was grate, and the owners were extremely nice and helpful. The hotel has central location and you can walk everywhere. AC was noiseless and very efficient. Bathroom was very big with bathtab and separate shower. We definitely will go back there. I hope soon. I loved staying at the Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci! It was convenient to everywhere in Florence, so walking around the city was easy. Filled with antiques and old world charm, this is not the hotel for those desiring modern gyms or plastic furniture. Think instead of marble and parquet floors, bidets, and luscious breakfasts. The hotel is located in a luxurious,...

Great location, very large room for Europe. You can walk to it from the main train station If you arrive or depart by train (10-13 minute walk). Walking distance to all the main historic sites. Decor is dated, but it is a 600 year old building so it is hard to complain about that. Terrace patio is wonderful.

We stayed at Hotel Tornabuoni at one of their suites for a recent trip to Florence. It couldn't be at a better location and while it was surrounded by high end shopping it managed to maintain the charm of the old world city while still having all the modern amenities. We found it to be a great hotel and the...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
