I have been visiting Florence twice a year for the past seven years and this hotel is the best I have stayed in....I will certainly be back again. Lovely roof top terrace with stunning views and all the staff are very polite and helpful. Furnished extremely tastefully with antique furniture and our room was lovely.....it was our very own 'room...

Wonderful, comfortable hotel with spacious room close to Arno, Duomo, train station, etc. very nice breakfast. Loved the rooftop terrace but too cold in the morning to use it. Only complaint is noise. We had to keep window open for air and street was noisey until late. There is s restaurant below. Even with that I would stay again but...

Location, Location, Location!! Great rooms, very friendly staff! If you are looking for a stuffy place with massages and sushi, keep going! This is home away from home. Every lamp, chair and tapestry boasts HISTORY!! Marco, Gino, Nicola exceed expectations along with cleaning service and wait staff! We will stay here on our next visit for sure! Grazie Tornabuoni Beacci!

I stayed at the Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci in late March 2017, and the experience was amazing! The hotel is magnificently appointed, the staff is accommodating and very welcoming, the service is well above average, and the property is located near both upscale shopping and the historic/tourist attractions. Our group had a small board meeting in the second-floor salon, and the...

My daughter and I visited in March and had a lovely time. Our room was exactly as described. We especially loved the rooftop terrace and bar. The concierge was helpful with restaurant suggestions. All of the staff was very friendly. Great location just minutes from the hustle and bustle surrounding the Duomo. We will definitely return.

Nicely appointed rooms, walking distance to everything a few steps to the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Breakfast was a little light with no hot foods. Great place if you can find a good rate. We missed the big breakfast.

The location of this hotel could not have been better for us. Within easy reach of everything that was on our agenda for the three nights we stayed. The hotel staff were welcoming and approachable. The room we were given on the 2nd floor was one of the largest hotel rooms we have stayed in with a separate seating area...

We quite enjoyed this quaint hotel. It's older, but very intriguing. It was quite a maze to get to our room, which we actually enjoyed as it took us through many unique locations (libraries, a bar). Our room was something out of a movie. Beautiful with very high ceilings and a wonderful view and fit all four of us comfortably....

In the heart of the high end shops although you do not feel out of place on a low budget. Only a doorway is the evidence that this hotel exists. A very friendly and helpful concierge on the ground floor, with the main hotel located on the fourth with rooms on the fourth and fifth floors. Beware the lift only...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
