Had 2 rooms booked here for my family of five including 3 teenagers. Hotel was exceptionally accommodating as we arrived at 10am, let us store our luggage while we toured. Breakfast was decent, and we were also permitted to store our luggage the next day...More
We chose this hotel because of it's location so we could walk to all of the sites we wanted to see. We were not disappointed. Although the street noise and church bells made it difficult to get a restful sleep, the room was comfortable and...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

I will suggest you to pre book the taxi. It may be difficult to get one on the spot, considering you need to leave early morning. The front desk is open 24*7 and they also give packed breakfast if you let them know a day prior. The airport travel time will be around 30 to 40 minutes. Well, i did not face any drug issues and its quite safe as per my experience. You can even have the taxi come to the hotel. You can board from there just in case you are apprehensive to travel
