My husband and I are currently staying here during our stay in Florence. THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO STAY! !!! We are picky travelers and there is not even 1 complaint about this space. Cinzia and Michel are FABULOUS hosts who go the extra...More
We stayed four nights upon arriving in Florence from Los Angeles, and could not have chosen a more beautiful place and nicer hosts!

It took less than 10 minutes by taxi from Firenze SMN. 1865 Residenza D'Epoca was located very close to Sinagoga and Piazza Massimo D'Azeglio park around Colonna on north east side. The host Cinzia was waiting, she greeted me well and later made me a...More

Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night. Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the Central National Library. As a hub for young people, the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated by songs and dances.

Apologies for the delay in replying. It takes about 20-25 mins from the airport in a taxi. We arrived by train from Venice and it was only a 10 minute ride from the train station. When flying home, it couldn't have been easier - there is a button you press in the hotel and a taxi turned up 10 minutes later. I think it was about €25 with a tip.
I would thoroughly recommend this place.
