Ideal location, perfect comfort and cleanness. Unique style with its very beautiful 19th century ceiling paintings. There is a very delicate and successful fusion of modern design with 19th century atmosphere. Perfect! Cinzia and Michel are the best hosts man can imagine – always very friendly and helpful. We got the romantic feeling at we are traveling back to the...

We got the recommendation to stay here from friends of ours who would be arriving after us, but we looked the place up here on Trip Advisor and loved what we saw. We were not disappointed at all! First let me start by complimenting Michel and Cinzia, the owners. What warm, friendly and lovely people! I cannot say enough good...

We stayed at 1865 Residenza d'epoca for the second time and found it to be equally wonderful the second time. It is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Florence. We were happy to return every afternoon to rest and recover from our long walks and explorations. Our favorite activities included the Bardini Gardens, the Bargello Museum and the Mercato...

This small B&B is one of the most memorable places I have stayed. I stayed with my girlfriend for 3 nights in the Dostoyevsky room, which has a 4+ meter high frescoed ceiling, a canopy bed, and a great room design throughout. This is easily on par with a top class boutique hotel anywhere in the world. The hotel is...

Hosting and info by Michel and Cinzia is unparalleled. Nothing you may ask is too much trouble and their ideas will inspire you to visit restaurants and locations on the lesser touristic side of Firenze. The residence itself is beautifully clean, maintained and decorated (in keeping with its age). Most importantly though they have a beautiful dog called Ross and...

Upon your arrival they make sure you know how to reach the best restaurants and the best routes to the major attractions. The location is perfect. You will be surprised how compact Florence is and how easy it is...
