Hotel older but clean. Rooms were average, not much more than the bed and a desk but nice. Staff at hotel were great, friendly and accommodating. There is a bus stop up the street but you can walk into the heart of Florence in about 20 minutes. There is also a great family restaurant right up the street from the...

There is a supermarket and a few different dining options nearby the hotel. But its a good 45 minutes walk into the city centre. Rooms are small - and like a lot of hotels in Italy, the air conditioning is slow. Breakfast is reasonable, with some hot and cold choices. The city of Florence itself is great.

We stayed for three nights this month during a European trip. We found the hotel itself to be quaint but in need of updating. The air conditioning barely worked and the wifi was slow. The bathrooms were very small. We did ask for a larger room and easily received an upgrade. Breakfast was lackluster but convenient nevertheless. Staff was pleasant...

The hotel is situated about 30 minutes from the city center by foot. Not too bad if you don't mind walking (which I don't) but if you visit in the summer or winter months, you're going to be spending a lot of money on cabs, buses or ride sharing. The hotel offered free wifi, however, we couldn't get signal in...

Old hotel but clean. You need a bus to go to the town center and train station. The stuff is helpful and polite, even though not everyone speaks english. Poor breakfast but great espresso. Non smoking rooms.

We stayed as a family of 4 in August for 7 nights. Good location, a 15 minute walk to San Marco square ( lots of buses go from here ) and the Academy, via La Pira. Bus outside the hotel goes to Fiesole ( 10 mins by number 7 bus). In addition to sightseeing in Florence, we could take a...

This was our third hotel of the tour. Baggage had to be unloaded across the street and carted over to the zebra crossing to the hotel. The foyer was nice, but very cramped when a tour group is inside and only one lift. We had a triple room which was comfortable, however, I found the bed very short and my...

We had the chance to upgrade and I wish we would have to skip staying here. Compared to other hotels in our package this one was "just ok" Wifi was slow, quiet but uninteresting walk back from city center which was 25 mins away on foot. Hotel staff ignored us when we came back at night. Hotel staff in the...

I stayed with my wife and 15 years old son for one night with a group. We didn't care that much about the hotel since we didn't spend that much time in the hotel and were busy exploring the Amazing Florence. Rooms were small, noisy, and smelly with heavy key chain! lol it was a hot night, and AC doesn't...

Claims to be a hotel for travelers, but there are two key amenities missing: no safe in the room, so we had to leave our passports at the front desk; and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all, so no Internet access. Then again, it's a cheap hotel with free breakfast (that part was adequate) and you're in Italy so... not...
