The location of this hotel is very good and less than 10 mins walk from the main bus station. Also, there are restaurants, groceries and laundry services near the hotel. The room is dated but clean. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The internet connection is free but quite slow and unstable.

Very basic rooms but comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. The check in staff were great and made everything so easy for me. The location of the hotel was excellent for those wanting to explore too! The only complaint I have is the wifi was a little hit and miss, and I sometimes had to go into the lobby to...

We stayed in this hotel for five days. The beds were very uncomfortable and the mattresses kept slipping off the bed. The cupoboard was very tiny and there was hardly any place to keep our things. The wooden furniture in the room was in shambles. The breakfast was poor and the lady at the restraunt had a very cold attitude...

We stayed 3 nights here with 2 children (13 and 10) in a quad room in August. We asked for a quiet room which we got. The irish bar across the road could be heard all the way up the stairs but as soon as we closed our room door we couldn't hear it at all! The room and decor...

I stayed here for two nights. The hotel is very basic. The location is perfect. However, there is no safe or fridge in the room. The bed is very uncomfortable. The room and bathroom need to be upgraded. It was confusing to operate the switches in the room. Even the lock seemed confusing. It's a very small room. The breakfast...

We recently spent 3 nights at hotel Rex. The hotel is excellently located near most of the major city sites. Our room was adequate size but felt worn and outdated. Bathroom was quite small and tight. Breakfast was adequate and reception staff were pleasant and helpful.

Had a very nice week at this hotel early may. Triple room incl breakfast at a superb location: Medici's chapel can be reached within 1 minute, and the railway station within 5 (also busstop for airport shuttle). Old room, but clean; large towels (and enough! If we stay in a 4 star hotel we often have to ask for the...

Great service, nice and clean, Rocco a great character. Perfect place to stay, close to everything, especially if you plan on walking every where. Breakfasts are simple, but fills you up. Value for money. Florence is also a fantastic city.
