The Hotel Pitti Palace is in an absolutely perfect place right at the end of the Ponte Vechio. Can't really fault the Hotel, staff great, room very clean, nice room and a view from a window across the bridge. Considering the Hotel and it's position it was great value.

There is no doubt that the Pitti Palace is in a prime spot, but the trade off is a lot of street noise. So if you are looking for a quiet sanctuary away from the tourist crowds this is nit the place for you. The hotel is somewhat tired and shabby and could use a facelift, but really it is...

First time in Florence, 4 nights. Positives Location was fantastic. Walking distant to main touristic attractions but quieter than north of Arno River and with good number of places to eat. A supermarket very close by with good assortment of cheeses, sausages, wines. Room size was fine, spot clean. We had a king size bed without asking for it. Breakfast...

Hotel Pitti Palace is situated next to Ponte Vecchio. We were worried about the street noise from this popular location but thanks to the sound proofed windows it cancelled all the outside noise and we were able to sleep peacefully. The rooftop view at this hotel restaurant was pleasantly beautiful at sunset and also a relaxing sunrise view while we...

Stayed here for a couple nights. Arrived via train from Rome. You will need to take a cab from the station, approx 10 euros. Great location just minutes from the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. I read a not so flattering review before booking and couldn't disagree more. We enjoyed our stay here and thought their star rating was well deserved....

Dear Cynthia Thank you so much for staying with us and for your kind review! Your description of our services is very detailed, from our courtesy set to our breakfast! Gin and Tequila are our little (well not so little...) pets, of course anyone suffering allergies we understand and make sure they do not interfere. For those who are not...

A short walk to anywhere in central Florence the hotel is small but very well equipped. The service is extraordinary - today I had a fall on the Ponte Vecchio and the gentleman at the front desk took out his medical kit and cleaned me up. I rang to see if I could get a vegan meal in the room...

Great location- just steps away from Ponte Vecchio and we could easily walk to most attractions. Breakfast was more substantial than most we'd had in Italy and served on the hotel's rooftop patio, which had a beautiful view. It did get noisy early in the mornings, mostly from the busy street/intersection. Room was clean and comfortable.

Noisy room from street noise. Hotel staff with a disinterested service attitude. Good location. A clothes Iron with frayed electrical cord that is a WH&S disaster waiting to happen. We thought that we may have been tired and cranky from travelling and therefore overly critical. We ate and slept. We weren't mistaken. The front of house staff attitude is far...

Worth the price of admission and tour to see the art treasures and how the rich lived. Put your walking shoes on and be ready to hike to see the gardens. Be sure to visit the tea house. A highlight of the visit.

Elegant hotel, but even from the 5th floor and all windows closed, you would swear people on the street below were right outside. The elevator is overweighted if anyone is already on it when the doors open - take the stairs. Location is great, but the worst aspect of this hotel is the staff. We found Massimo to be unbelievably...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
