Pros: Great location, perfect for sight seeing and walking to restaurants. Nice breakfast spread in a pretty room, standard room was a decent size with a nice view. Cons: Staff was very nice and helpful at check-in but then ignored us for the remainder of the stay. No acknowledgment when you enter/leave the hotel, no smiling faces, and annoyed by...

We loved staying at the Bernini Palace hotel and thought it was in such a great location. The lobby was beautiful and we liked our room as well. The room smelt a bit like smoke and wasn't a non-smoking room, but maybe i missed selecting non-smoking when i was booking.

Dear Guest, thank you very much for your post. I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay at The Bernini. Unfortunatly sometimes clients smoke even in no smoking rooms and it's difficult to cover the bad smell. Please do let us know if you have another date in mind and we will do our best to allocate you in a best way,...

This palace, although now a hotel, continues to treat its guests royally. We got a very spacious suite, looking towards the interior courtyard, everything as requested. While in the room all was quiet. The hotel offers breakfast, and you feel as though you are remembered, they are not constantly asking for your room number, and they do not forget your...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel looks amazing inside and is decorated well. The location is perfect for Florence. It is near to all the sites and bars and places to eat. The staff were not overly friendly and there seemed to be no atmosphere within the hotel. The hotel bar was always empty. We opted...

Wonderful old world hotel with modern conveniences. You cannot be better located in Florence. Terrific, helpful staff. Only drawback may be the buffet breakfast eggs which aren't really suited to an American taste. My wife's pancakes fared better, but plenty of good fruit. If you can, get a junior suite with a view of the Duomo. Though expensive, this hotel...

This was our second visit to the Bernini Palace, our previous some three years ago. The hotel has just about the best location of any hotel in Florence being just a stones throw from the Piazza d Signora, the Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio and is a big drawcard for us. Our room on the 5th floor was a good size...

My husband and I chose the Bernini Palace for our first trip to Florence. We were not disappointed! The rooms are 74, Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite, all are fitted out with the best, most up-to-date mod-cons and still preserve the charm of the past.
