We loved this little hotel. Very close to the train station and only 10-15 mins walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We booked the economy room and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a standard double room with ensuite when we arrived. The staff were...More
terrific location close to the main railway station and all main monuments. This place was clean with very friendly staff. Staff could book for us Uffizi and Accademia with no extra charge.
We booked this through Booking.com based on other travellers' experiences. One of the few hotels to provide a quad room at reasonable price. Rooms were lovely with our friend having a double with a view of the Duomo (if you stretched). Staff were extremely helpful...More
staff welcomed us very friendly .We could have our room before check-in time and this was very helpful because we were tired. we could leave our bags after check-out.
Location could not have been better ( 10 minutes walking you are everywhere )-
located in a central area and staffed by friendly and corteous professionals, was a perfect base to explore Florence and Tuscany.
Don't forget to take a picture of the lovely old elevator ( but close the doors before you leave it )
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
