I was very disappointed with this hotel and I felt misled completely. The location is great, close to the railway station and the sight but that's where the positives end. From initial check in, staff were quite rude, abrupt and not engaging with the customer. Then the room was awful. Now I did not think I had OCD however the...

Dear Madame, we are really sorry to know that on your arrival you felt like we did not received you in the proper way. The attention we have towards our guest is usually one of our stronger points. In you comment you have complained about many issues we could have solved. Every guest has different preference and when we have...

Endless stairs to get to your room, hardest bad to sleep and most expensive parking place. Thats what you get when staying here. We got a room ("the only room left...") above the hotel kitchen, so we had a "nice" smell of fried food directly to our room. They called us to change the room to a suite "that would...

I loved this hotel!!! I've stayed in 4 different hotels so far (on this trip) and this is by far my favorite. Great location, close to train station, easy to walk to with luggage. Very helpful concierge. Great breakfast, best I've had in Italy! Softer (than normal for Italy) bed that I actually got a good night's sleep in. Very...

The location of this hotel is fantastic so it's easy to wander around, and the decor has an old charm to it. The positives end there unfortunately. I had the worst nights sleep which is not how you wish to start a busy day of exploring. It's hard to say if this is because of the noise from outside or...

Had a great 4 night stay. Room was lovely and clean. Staff were fantastic, with advice and help. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. You could walk to all the sites. There is a lovely ice cream shop across from the hotel and a good sandwich etc shop opposite the ice cream. We had...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. It is a converted convent, very close to the railway station at Santa Maria Novella, and within short walking distance of the main visitor attractions - The Duomo, Pointe Vecchio etc. The City Sightseeing bus also starts it's tours just around the corner. The staff are very friendly...

The Hotel offers many extras, such as a wide choice of breakfast, a bar area, magazines and newspapers (electronic and in the language of your choice), mini bar and...

My husband and I stayed here for four nights on the first leg of our honeymoon. We had booked a room with a view but were given a room with a terrace and a small glimpse of the top of the cathedral. The room was overlooking another building with apartments. I brought this up with the lady at reception and...
