A spur of the moment decision prompted our stay at this 3 star hotel on the banks of the Arno. Having become accostumed to 4 star establishments, I was very pleased to find that Hotel Privilege, except for the smallness of the bathroom, was an extremely comfortable place to stay. Triple pane window kept the very spacious, clean, room perfectly...

We stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Privilege in Florence, Italy, and would stay there again. The owners were wonderful people, the service was great, the room was quiet, spacious and clean, the breakfast was fabulous, the restaurant recommendations were terrific, and the location was perfect. My husband loved the big tub. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting...

I went to Europe for the first time in May 2007. My friend (a veteran traveler) and I spent about 6 weeks meticulously planning a two-week tour of France and Italy. One leg of our trip led us to Florence. We had booked our stay at the Hotel Privilege online, and were hoping it was going to be okay. Well,...

This hotel has the most delightful host and hostess. They are a married couple who seem to always be available (don't they ever go home?). We felt most welcomed every time we came through the door way. The breakfasts were super! Boiled eggs, tortes, cheese, lox, fruit, juices, yogurt, espresso or cappuchino, milk, sliced meats--with encouragement from the hostess (You...

Wonderful small hotel on the Arno River. The managers were very helpful and could tell you just where to go and what to see. Breakfast was wonderful and the service was too. The room we had on the water had a wonderful view of the river, but it became a little warm for us with the windows and shutters closed...

Hotel Privilege is well situated for visiting Florence. We stayed with a group of ten people for four nights, and found the accommodations comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the hospitality of Barbara and Emmanuelle to be warm, gracious and helpful. Hotel Privilege overlooks the Arno about three long (long) blocks up river from Ponte Vecchio. It is also handy to...

Emanuele and Barbara Toccafondi make sure that you leave Florence (and Italy, generally) with the memories of a lifetime. They provide a level of service that I can only imagine regular visitors receive at the finest hotels in the world. These proprieters have intimate knowledge of Florence (and all places reachable by day trip). They help with decisions as if you...

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in a good location with wonderful service by the owner/manager. Although our room was a little worn, it was very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the coffee is the best coffee in all of Europe! The management was very friendly and helpful and...

We stayed here after having been away for 5 weeks and it was fantastic. The staff were great and very helpful with any information. The breakfast was good and they pour a great Gin & Tonic. The location could not be better. You can walk to all tourist attractions. The manager and his wife were fantastic and nothing to much...

We were pleased with our stay at the hotel. It is in a good location on the banks of the Arno, and is close to the attractions in the city. The breakfast was good and the room was clean (although the bed was a little soft). The shower room was a bit small, but served its purpose for the price....
