I stayed in this hotel over the fall when I was visiting my family in the city and I've never felt more at home, in the space, with the layout of the rooms originally designed for famous Italian actors with basic living quarters. I found inspiration, peace and all the support I needed to feel completely at home in the... More

Right around the corner from St. Croce cathedral and next to the Michaelangelo museum, so very central. Charming old hotel with lovely courtyard, beautiful coffee room and breakfast, and most importantly, very friendly, helpful, staff, especially Bilal and the owner, Federica.

I absolutely love this little hotel right on the outskirts of the centre of Florence! walking distance to everything, but slightly out of the way that its not noisey come night time. Staff are so welcoming and friendly, they cannot be faulted. The room was large and clean, bed comfy and soft, a little too soft for my husband, but... More

Hotel Dante is a lovely quaint little hotel and very central for exploring Florence. The staff are very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and would certainly return. Our room was large and clean with very nice bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and we felt sad to say goodbye. No hesitation in recommending Hotel Dante.

Hotel Dante provided a delightful stay in Florence. When we walked into this small Charming Hotel it felt like we were transported back to The Elegant era portrayed in the movies from the 19 1940s. Yet this hotel offers modern amenities such as Wi-Fi.The staff was very helpful in suggesting sites see and places to dine. The buffet breakfast was... More

This hotel is OK. The localization is excellent as you are at walking distance from most of the historic sites in Florence. The rooms need to be upgraded as they are pretty outdated. Cleanliness is average. The breakfast is nothing special and I even recommend having no breakfast at the hotel as there are many excellent choices much cheaper nearby.... More

Enjoyed our stay. The staff at reception were lovely and helpful. The location was fabulous, walking distance to old city. Breakfast was simple & adequate, inside or outside dining. For a fee, the car was taken off site to a car park. The only thing was we waited 1.5 hrs for the car when leaving. I'd stay again!

For a family of four this room was just too small! Bathroom was tiniest I've seen. The kitchenette/sitting room was too hot to use and awkward to get to. Air conditioning didn't reach there. Hotel was very arty and eclectic and staff lovely. Breakfast nice though average.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Dante. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and I loved the old-fashioned furniture. There is a large selection for breakfast, although I don't eat much in the mornings, but the coffee was good, and there were fresh bread rolls and croissants. The location is excellent - a... More

Checked into Hotel Dante from 9-11 May. One particular staff, Bilel (pronounced: Bee-lay), was exceptional helpful and cheerful! He would give recommendations on where to eat and he would greet every patron walking in or out of the hotel with the most genuine and widest smile! Such a gem Hotel Dante has got in Bilel! Keep it up!
