Located just about 7 minutes walk from the Florence Santa Maria Novella station. Directly behind the McDonald's outlet, it's in the middle of the street on the right. The entrance may not look posh but once you have entered into the room, it tells a different story. Setback is, it does not provide room kettle and complimentary water. I took...

we very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we found it easy to get around on food, the people in the front were very helpful suggesting where to have dinner. The only thing is that it seems that they put us in a handicap room, I say that because the shower/bathroom was one whole open space. And I wish...

Very nice hotel. It was nice to come back to the room after a long day sightseeing. The room was always clean. The location is great. Very close the the train station, downtown and restaurants. Breakfast was good too.

The room was very old and dirty. The ceiling had cracks and stain all over it. The bathroom and lobby (of the building we stayed in) looks like something out of a horror movie. The staff was very nice and helpful, this was the only positive thing about this hotel. We loved Florence and will definitely be back but we...

Hotel was very friendly, great location, spacious room, fabulous bathroom. The breakfast, included with the room, was incredibly extensive for a European-style, continental breakfast - even my husband (who expects breakfast to be a big, American-style breakfast) complimented on how good it was and much food was offered. Only negative was the rock-hard mattress which made for an uncomfortable night's...

At tad difficult to find in the car as the GPS wanted to send us the wrong way down a one way street....! however once we found the hotel, the staff could not have been more attentive and the room whilst older style was charming and more than adequate, with a walk in robe and ample ensuite.

Hotel Albani Firenze is located in an ideal place for walking tours of the many museums, churches, and art of Florence. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Duomo, and several museums are close at hand. The included breakfast buffet had a great selection of baked goods and other selections. The bed was quite comfortable as was the room temperature.

Terrible service, people rude at reception and at breakfast, uneatable food, impossible to take a shower due to lack of water pressure as well to control hot/cold water, room next to elevator impossible to sleep due to elevator noise.

Staff was wonderful, attentive and friendly. Additional choices for breakfast will be good. Room was comfortable but lots of wi-if internet connectivity issues. Would be nice to have movie options for foreigners.
