This hotel is ideal for a visit to Florence. Do not be put off by the ground floor entrance. (the entrance to the hotel itself is on the second floor) Even though the hotel is very centrally located, our room at the back was very quiet. The staff are exceptionally helpful and courteous and make every effort to make your... More

Stayed here for a week Feb/Mar time. This is the second time we've stayed here along with my parents - first time was 3 years earlier. We were met with a very warm welcome as before and Paolo and his family really do treat you very well and are always attentive. The family really understand the importance of good customer... More

My friends and I stayed in a quad at the Hotel Casci for two nights in April. The hotel was very quiet, yet centrally located in an excellent location between the Duomo and Academie. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. We took advantage of the free internet offered as well as the DVDs lent to guests. When we checked... More

We have stayed at the Hotel Casci several times and feel it is underrated at two stars. It is a small, family-run hotel approximately two blocks from the duomo. Most major attractions are within walking distance. The rooms, while not elegant, are exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is included and is more than adequate with cereals, fresh fruit, juice,... More

We spent four nights at Hotel Casci and were pleasantly surprised. We spent about 340 euro for our hotel in Rome, and Hotel Casci's cost was half that, so we did not know what to expect. When we pulled up out front and saw that it was on the second floor of the building and the elevator looked small and... More

We had such a wonderful stay at The Hotel Casci. The Lombardi family could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Our breakfasts were delicious, our room, althought not fancy, was very clean and a decent size for a European hotel. The hotel is two blocks from the Duomo and near the train station.

This place was not fancy but just right for our family of 6 (3 adults, two teenagers and a 10-year old). It is in a greaat cnetral location just minutes walking to the main sites, the rooms are clean, the complimentary breakfast good and filling, and the staff super-friendly. Especially friendly and accomoodating was the proprietress. She was just like... More

This hotel was lovely, but when we were there the outside was being renovated which almost took the look off it but inside it was a very nice hotel. The elevator looked a bit old so we didn't use it that much. The staff were very hospitable and the room was great, only complaint was that we had no view,... More

Hotel Casci is a fantastic place. Felt like we were family. They work hard to make your stay comfortable. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed art/pictures in the halls. Great breakfast. Wonderful cappucino. They helped with reservations at museums and gave great suggestions for dinner. Ideal location, close to sites and a great market. I can not wait to return to this... More
