In addition to the fabulous service and overall cleanliness, the view of the Duomo from the rooftop bar is worth the stay. Location is ideal to experience Florence. I would recommend this in a heartbeat to everyone!
Room was reasonable, bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. Had what you could need if out and about during the day.
The only downside was you never get enough milk for tea/ coffee left in room on the continent.

I can't recommend this hotel enough! It is absolutely fantastic with a central location. The roof terrace bar is not to be missed - fab drinks and cocktails with THE most amazing view of the Duomo and the rest of the Florence skyline too.
Location amazing. Fascinating historical building. Staff cheerful friendly and fluent English speakers. Breakfast one of the best, I have eaten in Europe. Spotlessly clean, not always the case in "similar" hotels I have stayed in.I came back. Obviously,I was satisfied with it.D

This hotel is lovely, the staff were friendly and the rooms were very ice. The best feature of this hotel though is the roof top bar with an amazing view of Florence and the Duomo... definately visit at sunset.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
