I have been staying in this hotel since 1984 and it has remained the same mot amazing hotel I stay in in Italy. I adore the family style welcome, and the easy going perfectly situated, beautifully appointed comfortable hotel. The rooms over looking the Arno which are large, original wood floors and cel-icings, large wardrobes and beautifully appointed bathrooms. What...

My wife and I have stayed at Hotel Lungarno three times now and for up to a week at a time. We think of this hotel as our home away from home in Florence. The rooms overlooking the Arno river provide an ideal view--half way between the Ponte Vecchio and the Ponte Santa Trinita. Rooms with a balcony are especially...

Been lucky enough to travel to Florence many times. Was able to enjoy my first stay at the Lungarno a few years back and I have to say it just has a certain charm that is still evident on my 2nd stay. The breakfast is excellent, more choices of fruits and cheese etc. as well as eggs and bacon and...

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was awesome! It's next to Ponte Vecchio, so in the centre of Florence where all the major sightseeing places are within a short walking distance. The hotel was very beautiful, modern, and clean. All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely...

We had deluxe room with a huge balcony overlooking the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio. Florence is a very walkable city and this hotel's location is excellent for walking to any where in the city. Daily breakfast included in room rate and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We would return any time.

Lovely homely hotel. Views from our room were just spectacular over the Ponte Vecchio & Trinita. Staff superb, 100% effort that could not be faulted. At this time of year (November) our room was a little cold, but mainly due to single glazed windows - but considering the view & location this was a very small price to pay!

Hotel Lungarno is a boutique hotel with a full service experience. While our queen size bedroom was small, the bathroom was quite large and the lovely terrace was exceptional just to drink in the sights and sounds of the city - especially fireworks that delighted us on a June holiday weekend. The buffet breakfast served in rooms overlooking the Arno...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
