+++ Fantastic location - you have Ponto Vecchio in literally TWO minutes. Uffizi - in three. River view (if mentioned in room description) - is really a river view and this is nice. There is a Park Garage downstairs around the corner in the same building. They offer nice tariff by agreement with Promenade (starting 25EUR/day depending on car size...

Dear Mr. Medinskiy, Thank you for booking at Promenade. Sincerely, after all the problems you've made here and all the complaining to Booking.com we did not expect you to write something fair about us. But you did. Thank you. And even there are only 2 words "Fantastic location", we are satisfied. In what concerns the comments, let's take them one...

We chose this place after reviewing features on Expedia that were important for us, such as breakfast, Internet, parking place, and a/C. When we got there, the lady, Irina, told us that breakfast was not Included and that if we wanted to use the a/C, We would have to pay 10 euros that were not included in the fee. Besides...

I should have checked closer, as they did say it, but air conditioning is extra. What was shocking was the parking charge. Expedia has it listed as free, on our booking it was listed as 10 Euro per day but, having parked exactly where they told us to, it was 40 Euro a day. As such I couldn't really recommend...

Dear Guest, Thank you for booking at Promenade. We understand your frustration that you could not find a free of charge parking in the historical center of Florence, but this is not our fault. For that, we encourage you to write to the City Council of Florence and make a proposal that the parking will be free of charge. Not...

The worst night stay I had since years. This hotel absolutely doesn't match the description. Aged, broken, missing equipment - a prison cell is better. Arrogant staff, hard to contact, problems with payment, offered breakfast doesn't exist, access to WiFi with troubles, no toilet paper, one dirty towel per person. The parking in basement is more suitable for night stay...

Dear Guest, Unfortunately, we don't have what to thank you for, as we do in the rest of other situations when our ex guests write their opinions about us. We accept critics and suggestions from our ex guests, but not comments that we consider malicious. Your language is inappropriate. The statement " a prison cell is better" gives us the...

The owners are WONDERFUL, the hotel was lovely, the room was very cute and the view was great! The sound from the outside was very loud, be we experienced this at nearly every hotel in Italy. I don't think Italy has discovered dual-pane windows yet. It's not obvious it's a hotel, so don't miss it! The walk up the 3...

This is a small 2 star type of hotel, with small rooms, no tea coffee, no frills, just good bed, en-suite toilet, bath, no breakfast, but located very well near Uffizi gallery and jeweler's bridge or Pitti palace. Noisy at night , as very close to river side road, so sleep gets disturbed. Good restaurants and market just on below...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
