My husband, myself, my daughter and her husband stayed in Florence at the end of September 2012. We had separate rooms with the bath in the hallway. We were the only ones using that bath that worked for us. My husband and I had a huge room with a sleeping area and a living and dining area. Marcella was extremely...

What a wonderful experience close to the heart of Florence! The rooms (both with a private bath or shared bath) are very comfortable and extremely clean. Marcella, the owner, creates an atmosphere where you quickly feel you have become a part of an Italian family. She readily helps with suggestions for restaurants, tourist sites, and quickly provides a map and...

Staying with Marcella is like staying with your grandmother in a good way. There are lacy sheets and doilies. Marcella is very enthusiatic and you can understand her even though she speaks little English. We had a double room with a shared bathroom. The room was decent size for Europe, the bed was comfortable, and the fan kept it cool...

The Rick Steves travel book evaluation and recommendation for this "casa" are spot-on! Marcella is the woman who owns and runs this B&B, and she is most considerate, kind, and helpful. The accommodations were certainly VERY clean when we were there, and we had NO problems or complaints. The location is terrific for Florence, as you can walk to main...

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights last March and it was a wonderful experience. Marcella was so nice and she made our exploration of Florence a truly beautiful experience. She even made reservations for the Ufizzi and Accademia at no extra charge. We are already planning our next trip and will bring the kids this time...

My wife and I stayed at Casa Rabatti in April and had an amazing time. We heard of Casa Rabatti through Rick Steves, and his comments were right on the money. Marcella was our instant Italian Grandma. She was immediately kind, friendly, and showed genuine interest in anything and everything we discussed. Marcella speaks broken English but goes out of...

I took my 17-year-old daughter for a two week trip to Italy as an early high school graduation present. We stayed with Marcella in Florence and it was a wonderful experience. Even though we did not speak Italian Marcella was very warm and friendly. The room was clean with a nice bathroom and plenty of extra thoughtful touches such as...

A very convenient location and a wonderful host; all we needed was to spend a few more days with Marcella and see more of Firenza. Marcella shares her humble home with travelers from all walks of life and was very helpful with our visit; making reservations at the Uffizi and Accademe for us; pointing us to her favorite local eateries;...
