For me this hotel was well worth a visit. The rooms are large and are exactly like the pictures you can find on the internet. Everything was clean and tidy. The location could not be better, withing easy walking distance of all the major attractions...More
We stayed here for three nights and were so pleased with our stay. Our triple room was spacious with very comfortable beds and the bathroom was very modern with all conveniences and a good shower. We were right in the center of Florence just a...More
Literally just steps away from the Duomo and the Uffizi. Right smack in the shopping area. Steps away from good restaurants, bakery, Fromageie, Chocolatier and not too far away from the train station.
The place is clean, up to date and Andrea is a wealth...More

We loved this hotel. Large well furnished room. Use of the reception room equipped with refridgerator, microwave, sink, pots and pans. Great location: but best of all our host Andrea. No request was too small or too large. This is a true hidden GEM!
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

The reception was only staffed during the day when I stayed in Oct 2017 so speak to them a day or 2 before and I am sure they will be able to book you a taxi. They are very helpful and altogether lovely! I was travelling by train so not able to advise on times/cost to airport.
