We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monte Oliveto. Both Donatella and Marta were warm and welcoming. They helped us with great restaurant recommendations, and made reservations for us. Our room was wonderful, with a nice balcony overlooking the garden and en suite bathroom/shower. The location...More

The walk from the train station is quite easy if you know where you are going. The small streets and alleys can be quite confusing at first, however with a little practice we found the route very easy and direct. I believe it is best to take the short taxi ride to get your bearings first and then attempt the walk.
Good luck and enjoy the beautiful city and especially the hospitality of your hostess.
