We stayed at Floroom 1 for two nights in November. The team emailed us with an entry code a few days earlier, and we had no issue finding the hotel or accessing our room. The room was comfortable and chic with no unnecessary fuss. We were there in November and felt comfortable in the warm room (because it was cold...

Whilst our taxi driver was unsure how to find the Floroom apartments, we found that they were in a great neighbourhood 400 yards away from Ponte Vecchio, close to some great restaurants and ideally located just off a little square where we had the best ice cream of our trip! (Recommendations include the chocolate orange and pistachio flavours). A short...

As the title suggests Floroom is more like an apartment than a hotel and as previous reviewers have highlighted the accomodation is not staffed. This is however something the providers make you aware of, we appreciate that this is not for everybody so anybody thinking of booking should bear this is mind. Ideally I would have liked to have awarded...

Just back from five nights. Room was fine and had great air conditioning (it was hot). Great location, near main attractions but wasn't overly touristy. My only negatives were two: breakfast, while it says included, it's self serve bagged pastries, grocery bought prepackaged meats and a coffee pot; the other is you never interact in person with anyone representing the...

This is not a hotell, more like a flat that has been redesigned to accomodate a small group of persons. No available staff in the afternoon. Breakfast selfservice with a "remarkable" selection of plasticwrapped "food" together with an old fridge located in one of the rooms corner. We spent 15 minutes in our room before leaving.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Floroom. My wife and i spent two nights here in May 2015. The location is good, well away from the touristy hordes, yet walkable to all of Florence's notable sights and experiences. We slept well, the hotel is not noisy as it is in a side street and the air-con worked perfectly...

Comfortable elegant room in this fantastic location. Two minutes to Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio a similar distance in the other direction. Arrived too late for check-in but pre-provided code worked perfectly. Didn't meet any staff but my one and only query dealt with quickly and very helpfully by email, thanks to free wifi!

My husband and I stayed in Floroom in September 2013 which we booked through a travel agent. We generally like to travel slightly off the beaten path and love boutique hotels for this reason. Floroom was ideal for us! It was tucked away from the hustle of Florence yet still so close to many attractions. Upon arrival at the train...

I booked this bed & breakfast through Mr & Mrs Smith's website. I asked for Floroom 2 at first because the location was much closer to Santa Maria Novella (train station). Unfortunately, Floroom's booking form was a bit vague so I could not checked whether I was booked in Floroom 1 or 2..after sending an email to Mr & Mrs...

This B&B is in an amazing location- above a lively and pretty piazza that has great restaurants, bars and gelatto places but doesn't disturb your sleep in the very comfortable bed. Also the surrounding area, Oltrarno, was great for more lovely restaurants, atmospheric wondering and the local (and reasonably priced) opera at St Marks English Church. The B&B is also...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.

“I would recommend this for couples only. They make very good use of the space (Europe is known for smaller rooms), but that said the bathroom is frosted glass and intimate. It may prove uncomfortable for non-couples.”

“Make sure your bedroom window doesn't face onto the below piazza as it may get noisy. We did not have this issue as our bathroom window looked over the piazza and we were not disturbed when we wanted to sleep.”

“This is a couples B&B. Its a no-no for families! If I am not mistaken there are a total of 4 rooms available. All are on the lower floor. Upstairs you can find a nice lounge which doubles as breakfast space. Keep in mind that there is no elevator so you have to take your stuff 3 floors by stairs. Of course it is not suitable for people in wheelchairs.”
