We are visiting several places in Italy to check them out. We are both seasoned travelers and know better than to expect a Marriott like experience. Who wants that when in the countryside of Italy? This is the real deal. Family owned. Beautiful. Wonderful local lady prepared a marvelous dinner for us and it was paired with local wines. It... More

This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the south of Tuscany. We easily drove to Cortona, Montepulciano, and environs. Also nearby are Siena and Montalcino. The owner and his staff are welcoming and very helpful - and they are also cognizant of travelers' needs. For example, if you want to be social and have dinner... More

This is a beautiful country inn, with beautiful grounds/gardens, superb food, and Alessandro is the perfect host. Perfectly located to visit all the sites in Tuscany and Umbria, too. Totally recommend it!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this quaint B&B. First, we were very pleased with how easy it was to find - right off the major road, A-1. And yet, we felt secluded and surrounded by beautiful country vistas. It was very accessible to amazing medieval cities including the two we highly recommend visiting, Siena and Cortona.... More

Poggio sant Angelo. Of our 10 day trip to Italy, this was our most disappointing stay. The place was ultra difficult to find, and once there the "lobby" was eerily dark, unwelcoming and empty. I heard some noise in the kitchen and found a guy chopping garlic or herbs, or something that didn't interest us. He showed us to our... More

We are sorry of all the inconvenience and troubles during your staying. Although we try to do our best as it can be seen from other reviews, sometimes things cannot be fixed. Prior to your arrival there has been several days of bad weather conditions with thunderstorms and heavy rain and wind....and also the forecast were quite uneasy. This coused... More

Great hotel, rooms are very big and very clean. House is typical Tuscany style. Garden and pool area are great. Only thing not so good was quality of WiFi and not so good breakfast. Luigi (manager) was great host.

best place to get to know Tuscany. Really warm and helpful staff. Great views around. It is close to most cities in tuscany, and really close to beautiful cities, like Cortona, Lucigniano, Montalcino. Must have a car, though,

I discovered this B&B on TA. We (4) stayed here during our 18 day visit to Italy. I chose this B&B due to location, reviews, and we did have a car rental(necessary). Alexandra (owner/operator) and George(chef) were such wonderful hosts. The rooms were large, clean, and well equipped. (small room fridge, hairdryer, great shower, comfy bed). The rural area is... Although this B&B's location does not provide that classic Tuscan scenery people should not be deterred from here. The rooms are affordable and comfortable for families and the breakfast is ample. Luca and Luigi are what gives this place a soul, they are friendly, efficient and always willing to help and should be the reason you book your stay at... More

My wife and I stayed here briefly as part of our honeymoon and had booked our stay on the strength of the reviews here but were really disappointed with pretty much every aspect of this B&B.
