First the good: The location is great, right in the center of Cortona and excellent walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. Our room was quite lovely, with a comfortable, romantic four-poster bed. We thought the price was very reasonable for what is offered. What we didn't like so much: The B&B seems to be run more...

We stayed here for two nights in December. What a charming little B&B! Inside, the building has been restored beautifully. We had a top-floor room with a gorgeous window letting in the sunlight. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The WiFi works very well. Antonella bakes goodies for breakfast and also provides cold cuts, cheese, cereal and toast, and...

We spent four wonderful days in this lovely B&B. It is located in a beautiful old house in the centre of Cortona. The rooms are decorated with taste - vintage pieces of furniture, ancient drawings, fresh flowers... Soft linen and towels, high-quality toiletries. It is a very nice family who runs the B&B. They are incredibly welcoming and warm. The...

Our stay in Vicola della Scala was like visiting your best Italian friend in her home. From the moment we walked in the door, Antonella made us feel part of the family. Her coffee each morning was amazing and her fresh baked treats were devoured. Cortona is beautiful and Antonella and Pasquale gave us so many insider tips to make...

Great location just off the main drag in Cortona, perfect for exploring this amazing hilltop town. Close enough to the parking as long as the escalators are working. Antonella and Pasquale offer a great service and are always just around the corner if you need anything. Breakfast was great and just enough. The rooms are of a size to expect...

This was no ordinary B&B, we were treated like family. Perfectly located and super clean, Vicolo della Scalla was by far the best stay during our five week trip through Europe. Everything from our hosts, Antonella and Pasquale, through to the cooking classes was amazing. We strongly recommend taking up Antonella's cooking class. Not only is she an AMAZING cook,...

We stayed at Vicolo for a week with friends. Antonella and Pasquale were extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts were divine. Our rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, located above a picturesque alley off Cortona's main street, Via Nazionale. We will definitely be back!

On our 2 week tour of Italy, this was our favorite place to stay. Our hosts were friendly, gave us a great map and directions and provided a WONDERFUL recommendation for dinner (AD Bracceria)! The B&B was clean, homey and had a great, quiet location. Antonella made fresh pastries for a great breakfast. We plan on returning to Cortona and...

We decided to visit Cortona on a whim after being in a big city like Rome. The humidity and the hustle and bustle of Rome made us look for some peace and quiet. We found this quaint little B&B on tripadvisor and saw the great reviews. First the positives: -"Cortona" is a great place to visit. If you've done your...
