The house is beautifully furnished with a lot of historical details, the garden is extremely neat and tidy with a lot of plants and the pool is very clean and there is a stunning view around the house into the tuscan hills.
Simonetta and Guido are really loveable, caring and have a lot of good recommendations for trips, restaurants, nice places,…
The delicious vegetarian/vegan breakfast can be served on the beautiful terrace.
Simonetta gave us a cooking class where we prepared fresh ravioli, pizza and focaccia together - so delicious and very instructive!
There are many historical villages in the area around the property.
We can definitely recommend Casa Bellavista for a restful stay in a marvelous surrounding!

Highly recommend this B&B. We had a fabulous 5 night stay at Casa Bellavista. The property is lovely on top of a hill overlooking Tuscany. A car is required as this property is truly "off the grid" and about 15 minutes to the closest village. Everything was top-notch. The rooms are large and comfortable with updated modern bathrooms. The common areas comfortable and the grounds were stunning. Additional touches that we appreciated include, bathrobes & slippers, stocked mini-fridge, screens on the doors & windows. The entire property is spotless and the hosts Simonetta & Guido were gracious and helpful with local advice. The breakfast service was abundant and delicious with an excellent variety of food whether you are vegetarian or not (homemade cakes, breads, cheeses, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and more). We took a cooking class which we all enjoyed. The food was delicious and Simonetta & Guido were fun in the kitchen. That same evening we were served the 5 course meal that we prepared. The setting & service were exceptional. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip.

The ultimate Tuscan experience.
If you are looking to truly experience Tuscany come here, the views are amazing the house is extraordinary and the hosts are the most gracious people you’ll meet.
My wife and I have spent 3 nights in the stunning villa and it was absolutely incredible- Simonetta will teach you how to cook in true Tuscan fashion (also Vegan/Vegetarian) and will make sure you are fed and taken care of while Guido will teach you everything you need to know about the region, the wine and olive oils, he is a fountain of knowledge.
A true hidden gem - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was our third visit to this beautiful bed and breakfast. Simonetta is the perfect host and an exceptional, creative chef. The bedrooms are furnished with lovely antique pieces. Each room is unique. The location is breathtaking and the gorgeous flowers and landscaping add to the relaxed atmosphere.
We look forward to our next visit to Casa Bellavista!

This i such a special place, so much so we keep coming back.
Its not just a B&B but a home from home run by a most lovely family. The attention to detail is faultless and having not been here for a couple of years due to Covid, its clear Simonetta has invested much time and money into continous property improvements and a new lovely spa area complex.
If you wish to immerse yourself into true Italian culture then this is the place to stay, Simonetta is the most charming lady, patient and always looking to please and help with making your stay most memorable.
This is not just a B&B, Simonetta is a gifted cook and their cooking classes not to be missed and whilst a B&B dinner is available on request in a beautiful setting as the sun sets and then for breakfast as it rises once more.
The rooms are beautifully decorated with true Italian decor, clean and very comfortable.
There is nothing I could add to make this special place any better Simonetta has a true talent making this place a one of a kind.
Grazie mille Simonetta and as always for helping me every day with my Italian.

This is quite simply the perfect place to stay in Tuscany. It is set in a private, picturesque spot between Cortona and Montepulciano allowing for easy day/dinner trips into either town. It is also an easy drive to Siena and many other hill towns, each with their own history and charm to explore. The house is historic and beautiful and the surrounding grounds and pool are relaxing in an understated way that make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and well cared for, and I really appreciate that this B&B is so environmentally conscious. In addition, Simonetta is the perfect hostess with lots of helpful advice and directions. I highly recommend cooking a meal with her - everything will be delicious and you will feel completely spoiled as you enjoy it with a bottle of wine in this idyllic setting.

Please pay a visit to Casa Bellavista! Simonetta, Guido and Leya are a warm family living on the most amazing estate of Cortona. They offered the most tasty breakfast, dinner and wines, all with an eye for sustainability. Not to forget the must-do activity: cooking with Simonetta! Not only did we learn to make excellent pizza, ravioli and focaccia: we got to enjoy the lovely food in the breathtaking garden afterwards.

We spent 5 days at Casa Bellavista, it was not just a place to stay but a whole new experience of relaxation in pure nature, with beautiful surroundings and also an opportunity to getting to know Tuscany and the Italian cousin. Simonetta and Guido were amazing hosts, very friendly and attentive. The property lies in the middle of the tuscan hills, has a breathtaking view from every angle and also has a very big swimming pool for cooling down in the summer. We will never forget these days and can recommend 100% to everyone.

If you have a car in Tuscany, Bellavista is a magical place to stay. First, it is a beautiful property, located at the top of a hill with stunning views of Tuscany and surrounding villages. Second, the hospitality of Simonetta and Guido is outstanding. They helped us book wine tours, and restaurant reservations, and were just lovely humans to interact with! We did the cooking class with Simonetta, which was great. The rooms are so comfortable. There is no A/C, but there was an incredible breeze all night. We slept great.
Bellavista is mostly vegan - we are not vegan nor vegetarian and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the food, though!

From the minute we drove up to this charming B&B, to our room, the Tuscan sunsets, the gorgeous grounds, the location, and the breakfast, we were enchanted. It was about an hour and a half drive from Florence. The hostess is wonderful and we would recommend this place to anyone. Magical!!

Dear 4ExplOre,
during the day is hot, but if you keep the window close and also the darker is not so hot, there is fan into the room and after 6 pm you can open the windows and it's very airy. Concerning the bugs in each window there is a net to protect about any kind of insect
With my best regards
Simonetta
Dear MaddieH7,
I have to inform you that there is any kind of public trasportation where my B&B is located. If you stay only 1 day is not a problem , you can take a taxi (I have to booked for you in advance) and you reach me, but if you want stay longer, without a car you will miss all the beaytiful landascape and small villages as Montepulciano, Pienza, Chianti.
The other solution is to do all this tours with a driver.
Please feel free to contact me for any other queries
With my best regards
Simonetta
