We decided to come back to Villa di Piazzano after an amazing trip last year. We wanted to see more of Tuscany and it can't be beaten for location and beauty. The staff were as attentive as ever, and the rooms were still beautiful. It's a special place for us and would highly recommend a visit.

We stayed here for 4 nights this week whilst attending a wedding and we will be going back. The owner's father Damian was charming as was Massimo the night porter and all the other staff - they were all really lovely helpful people and charming with it. Cortona is great and having styed at Il Falconerie last time at considerable...

When something is as perfect as the Villa, it is actually hard to write a review! As other guests wrote, the property, the staff, the food, the rooms - all great! We loved our room, and the others that I saw were equally attractive. I suppose that what says the most about how we felt about the Villa is, that...

Gabriella is a wonderful chef and teacher. Her passion for cooking shows in everything she does. My husband who really didn't want to take her course actually had the best time. And as much as we had fun we actually learned a tremendous amount of cooking skills that we brought home with us. But of course the best part of...

Wow! Where do we start? Feom the moment we arrived, it was obvious this was going to be a special experience. The property is amazing and beautifully kept/restored. All the staff are just devine and they go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need (they definitely go the extrat distance). I would highly...

Sandy and I stayed at Villa do Piazzano in 2004, loved it and so it was a natural choice to celebrate Sandy's big birthday this year with friends and family. The whole team at VdP did a fantastic job at making sure our 3 days will be remembered by us all for a very long time. The location, the rooms,...

We spent 3 nights here in the summer of 2014. The place is beautiful, peaceful, iconic and quiet. They have only 27 rooms so you will feel like you are alone even though there are people around. It's an old hunting lodge so it's more like staying in someone's home than like being in a hotel. They even have actual...

We had a great day and cooking lesson of Italian Food with Chef Gabriella. We learned many Italian and Tuscan specialties. We are still making pasta that we learned from Gabriella. The "chingali" was delicious and we make often at our home. At the end of the day Gabriella served us the dishes that we made with a Lovely table...

My wife and I spent 7 magical days and nights at this former Cardinal's home now turned stunningly beautiful villa nestled in the Tuscan hills. With exceptional personalized service from ALL the staff, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of this jewel and it's absolute tranquility and peacefulness. Everyone was helpful and so knowledgeable about the area and how to get...

We have been to Cortona a couple of times and we thoroughly enjoy the Villa di Piazzano. The grounds are very pleasant, and eating breakfast and dinner on the patio make the day come alive. Our most memorable experience is the cooking class with Gabriella Lavorato - she is a wonderful chef and an exceptional host. I don't think you...
