Visted here 3rd December, we were two couples. What a fantastic place a really traditional Italian hotel in a very romantic setting. The views from this hotel are breath taking even in December. The hotel is exceptionally clean . Carlo the owner director is extremely helpful. The place is a real gem. The breakfast is taken in the orangery overlooking...

There's absolutely no way this hotel is rated three stars. It is located in an outstanding setting, as you make your way out of the dining area, you will be greeted by a beautiful sea view, to which you can see the sun rise while you breakfast. Turn your head and you'll see Europe's most active (and most stunning) volcano,...

We recommend this nice hotel for couples who would like to stay near downtown and like to discover Taormina by foot. Host Luigi is very friendly and is of help where needed. Rooms are not new but they are more than sufficient for the stay. Room rates are OK for this location. Breakfast is OK with some italian specialities. Staff...

A great, traditional hotel. Friendly helpful staff especially the waiter Sebastiano, who ensured my caffeine levels were well catered for. The hotel is only a short, uphill walk into the centre of Taormina with its many attractions and restaurants. The view of Mount Etna and sea from the terrace and surrounding gardens are stunning. Breakfast on the terrace was a...

Stayed here as a family of 4 in 2 rooms. Hotel is simple, clean and relaxed. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but fine. It's a short but steep walk up into the main part of Taormina, but the beach is a bit further away, and you probably need a car or use the cable car to...

We had a wonderful one-week sojourn at the Bel Soggiorno. Our arrival was a little later than expected but we were immediately offered a lunch of delicious sandwiches and drinks. We eat on the terrace with a broad view of the Mediterranean and complete silence! There was a little more noise at other times when the Sicilians were not enjoying...

The hotel is a little dated in its condition & levels of amenity but it has real charm, lovely views. Staff were very polite and breakfast was made special by the views. It is a steep walk up into Taormina but the hotel is well located. The nicest way to walk into Taormina is to walk via the public park,...

Returned on Sunday 16th Oct after spending a wonderful week at the Bel Soggiorno. Beautiful views in every direction. Very peaceful and relaxing retreat. The staff are brilliant and very friendly. We met some great people and spent the week exploring the wonderful area of Taormina. We would recommend visitors to be patient, this is a traditional hotel with loads...

The best thing about this hotel is breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens and looking down to the sea. Your shower will likely be lukewarm. The walk up to the town is a gradual climb not all of which is well lighted. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are smallish and somewhat quaintly furnished. WiFi is...

Great views, steep but pleasant 10 minute walk up to Taormina. Room was definitely old fashioned 3 star and all would have been good except no hot water at all on Day 1 and a luke warm dribble after the issue was highlighted, on Day 2. Unless you like cold showers, recommend elsewhere.
