We had the perfect stay at this hotel. Our suite was large, comfortable, with an incredible balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. We had breakfast each morning, which is included with your stay, and Marina went beyond to care for our every request. The private beach & infinity edge pool is breathtaking. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
I had an amazing holiday with my family. The hotel has got an outstanding and incredible position with a private beach that you can reach directly from your room with a lift. The lighted cavern which will take you to the beach is incredible! The breakfast and the food at the restaurant is so delicious with lot of Sicilian specialities I highlight the professional and the passionate attitude of the senior receptionist Virgilio who is always keen to give value added info and advice all the customers of the hotel Great experience , I will come back Rai
Great hotel with lovely pool and access to the ocean. We had a very large and clean room. The food (inkl. breakfast) was very nice. And so was the staff. Out daughter turned 10 during our stay and the hotel suprised her with a handwritten card (signed by about 10 people), a tray of beautiful cakes and a small present. Very thoughtful and totally made her day.
Super nice employees, very good service, clean and beautiful. Also the view and the privacy were very pleasing. What we liked the most, was the good food and the best margaritas by Melinda at the beach bar!
Overall a lovely four-star hotel in a super location nestled on the cliff with dual aspect views out to sea which I booked through 'Voyage Prive'. A sea view is a must I was given a spacious room number 410 which had a large separate shower and bath ample clothes storage space and very comfortable. I had a stunning view across the bay of Naxos with Mount Etna in the background. This was the perfect backdrop to wake up to in the morning and have breakfast on the balcony gazing at the morning fishing boats bobbing across the bay. And also a spectacular opportunity to watch the sun go down with a glass of delicious Mount Etna gin & tonic beautifully garnished with juniper berries- it really is a good botanical gin if that’s you penchant. Magical moments The rooms are clean and organised although lacking in any real character. Although I appreciate its stiflingly hot in the summer months hence hard cool surfaces and minimum room dressing. However, they could do with a bit more fabric and texture to soften the overall feel from October months onwards as it get coolers …such as cushions, floor rugs, bed runner. The same can be said for the bar it needs zoning to create more of a welcoming atmosphere rather than just a waiting room before the rush to dinner- currently the bar is a bit soulless yet has enormous potential to be a real destination place before supper and even after supper. The hotel has a fabulous infinity pool looking out to sea and on another level a Jacuzzi. The hotel has made very clever use of all of the outdoor poolside terracing and there are loads of places to take yourselves to somewhere more private on the multi tiered levels of sun- loungers dotted strategically on the cliff side. To access the lower restaurant, pool and your own private beach (which gets the morning sun mostly), you descend by lift into the heart of the cliff side and emerge in what can only be described as a beautiful cavernous former ‘lava tube’ which journeys out to sea, it’s quite enchanted and adds to the quirkiness of this hotel particularly when going to dinner with its atmospheric lighting and music. Breakfast was okay and fresh decent cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice in abundance. The hot breakfast was a little basic and often cold for my liking. I would have like to see a lot more freshly cut fruit on offer rather than simply sliced melon only. Need to have more fresh health options. I don’t really want to sit and cut and peel my own fruit all through breakfast. I opted for half board so the evening meal was a real treat however after 5 nights the slimed downed menu became a little restrictive with the offering. I said I was happy to have the wider ranging a la carte menu offering which had more choice and pay the difference if necessary. Fortunately on the last night I did this and the restaurant manager was more than accommodating to my wishes, which was encouraging. Overall a good four star with good Sicilian food on offer-so I would highly recommend. The front of house staff notably ‘Roxanne’ were helpful, welcoming and engaging. Top tips: - •Make use of the free bus to Taormina (don't think that you can walk it, it's a fair UPHILL DANGEROUS hike) •Never use taxis from hotel to local area or Airport (30-35% more expensive). •Walk to the train station down the hill to Taormina Giardini if you want to have a day trip to Catania –super cheap return ticket on train 9 euros! •Walk via Nazionale route to Isola Bella, its scenic 15-20 Mins –there are nice lunch places too •Take the local cable car •Only have a sea view room that looks out to Mount Etna (3323m) and across the bay of Giardini -Naxos.…
