In my opinion it is not situated in a tranquil corner of Taormina as our holiday brochure quoted. If you pay extra for a balcony you could find yourself adjacent to the busy, noisy main road with its toxic fumes.

A really amazing spot with a real classic feel. Such a quiet place to hide away from the buys winding roads. Could have been anywhere, we had dinner here as we read the menu as we walked passed it and it looked lovely. It is expensive and upper class but I don't think that effects the clientele. If you want...

Having read the other recent reviews of the hotel, I realise that there is little more to add other than to agree wholeheartedly with those fellow travellers. The Ashbee Hotel is perfect in almost every way and the staff are superb. A special mention should be made for the best barman - Francesco for whom nothing was too much trouble...

Second visit to this wonderful hotel. Staff can't do enough for you. Bedrooms are luxurious with all accessories that you could need. Breakfast on the roof terrace in the morning sun with wonderful views over Taormina- such a romantic way to start the day. Comfortable sun loungers and not forgetting the infinity pool. This is our second visit and we'll...

Hotel is quiet and exclusive. An oasis of calm from the busy streets in the old town. A mature hotel with helpful and discreet staff. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Food (breakfast) was plentiful and delicious. Overall a great place for couples - leave the kids at home and enjoy the tranquility ! Rita on reception was particularly helpful - a...

Step off the busy and bustling streets of Taormina and in through the iron gates into a quiet haven scented with honeysuckle and the sound of songbirds. Generous room, and bed, beautiful gardens overlooking the sea. Great service. Highlight is breakfast served from a roof top terrace with views of mountains and swallows swooping overhead.

This Hotel is outstanding. Beautifull building, beautifull gardens, incredible views. The staff attention is excellent. Breakfast is very good. Located at a short walk to the old town, very well located. I would go back 100 times.

We visited here for our honeymoon and could not have wished for a more perfect hotel. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly, especially Nino, Bruno, Irene, Mary, and Anna. The hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquility from the hustle and bustle of Taormina. Its location is perfect, just at the end of the Corso Umberto. The rooms...

The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Dino, Elena, Irena, and Mary. Lovely hotel with wonderful views, delicious breakfast, and infinity pool. Boutique hotel and somewhat quiet which we really enjoyed. Overall, we loved Taormina and picked the perfect time to go, before the busy tourist season. The perfect time to see Sicily in the Spring with fruit trees...

Lovely old house transformed into an oasis of calm in this busy town with stunning views from the pool area and roof top restaurant. The rooms are elegant (high ceilings), nice beds, modern bathooms. Service was faultless and friendly. We stayed in the main building, first floor with a view over the courtyard. The hotel is situated at the top...
