We decided to stay at this place because of a recommendation from a friend. We really loved this place. First of all parking is so easy (which it generally isn't in Ortigia!) There are about 20 parking spaces right in front of the house. The view is spectacular. Our room had a great balcony with a lot of privacy and...

I would not recommend you to stay at the Ortygia Sea view bed and breakfast for the folowing reasons: Location is not very good as it is not in a very safe area of Ortygia. Building is very scary and in poor condition: cut throat alley, I would call it Rooms are decent Bathrooms stink: gutter problem Towels are changed...

My 6 night stay was overall delightful. The food was wonderful as Ida and the staff prided themselves in presenting a new breakfast treat every day. Ida's recommendations for local dining were all excellent. I did day excursions from this base and covered from Mt Etna to Temple Valley with no problem. I plan to visit again with my wife...

At first I was concerned about our choice as we did not find it so easily, but when we did... what a score! Lovely room with a beautiful balcony overlooking the Sea. The very best part of the stay was the hostess, Ida Bianco. So helpful and friendly we felt very at home despite our lack of speaking italian. She...

The location is fantastic...parking is free and right across the street,,,the fish market is just below and fun to watch..but not noisey because of the double windows. The best part is the beautiful view...

The owner Ida Bianca was a wonderful host! We loved the magnificent view of the Sea from our room and loved all the little cafes and restaurants around the corner from the B&B. The best part for me was the open market that was right outside the front door of the B&B. Having travelled to many places in the world,...

We had a lovely room overlooking the sea. Breakfast was served in Ida's apartment and there was a wonderful selection of local dishes and produce. Our room also overlooked the market street - what an amazing sight greets you in the morning, with stalls overflowing with local produce. Ida was a wonderful hostess, speaking very good English and giving us...

Breakfast was the best we'd had over the four weeks we were there. Ida provides a varied breakfast consisting of many homemade goodies, such as jams, fresh fruit salad & a lovely dessert that i...

This B & B is located on the Island of Ortigia and easy to reach by two bridges from Siracusa. The 4 rooms on the 4th floor are large and views are fantastic. Breakfast is typical but the view from the owners breakfast area is wonderful. Feels more commercial than many B & B but the owner Ida Bianca is...
