We got the hotel as part of a travel deal and we were surprised of the good location very near the bus and train stations and the wonderful breakfasts. We got very good information and help from the personnal at the desk that were very friendly. The only disadvantage we found was the missing lobby that was only some chairs...

The best breakfast of our Italian trip with lots of choice, served in the garden of the hotel, which was not too cold in March. Helpful staff. The room and shower were very spacious and clean. It is close to station and bus station, in a quiet location, close to the police station, but we heard no noise from there....

The hotel is nothing fabulous and there isn't a great view from the window but they compensate that with the great pillows and large beds for a good night rest after a long day out. And this was all we needed. We stayed two nights there while visiting Syracuse, Ortygia and Riserva Naturale Oasi Faunistica di Vedicari. The garden for...

I made a reservation at this hotel through Booking.com. When we (two older single women) arrived we found the neighborhood questionable, with absolutely nowhere to park our car. I went into the hotel and found there was no lobby, just a reception desk in a hallway, with some rather odd looking folks standing around. The receptionist was actually quite helpful,...

Hotel Coloniali is located a 10 miinute walk from idylic Ortigia island. The hotel is Well organised and staff is competent, gentle and helpful. Rooms are confortable and mostly clean although ours had old toothpaste around the wash bassin. Freshly squeezed orange juice on a generous breakfast buffet. Absolutely to recommend.

This hotel where we spent two nights has the great advantage of being able to park in the street outside and is equidistant from the end of Ortegia Island and the Syracusa Archaelogical site about twenty minutes walking in either direction. It may not be in the most attractive area alongside the now unused railway tracks that lead to the...

Coles to the station and bus station, easy walking distance to local sights. Nice clean rooms, bathroom particularly good. Wi-fi worked well. Good prices, nice staff. Breakfast was good, the only downside was getting them to serve a coffee, the second morning we gave up and relied on the coffee pot rather then a nice 'cino. Would definitely recommend and...

We stayed with here with our young baby and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel and if I return to Syracuse I would like to stay here again. There's no hotel parking, but it was easy to find a parking space on the street outside....
