This hotel is a good hotel with clean rooms, good breakfast, walking distance from both Ortigia and central Siracusa and great free parking which is not easy to come by in Siracusa. Notwithstanding, it can be so much better if it is better staffed, better equipped with good wifi and modernized rooms with facilities.

We stayed in room 209 with sunny patio Bed comfotable and room very clean. We enjoyed the choice of breakfast food available. Location excellent, We booked evening meals which were arranged in the next door restaurant and every meal was fantastic in lovely surroundings with a great waiter, Joseph to whom nothing was too much trouble we celebrated my husband's... Good location: a 10 minute walk from Ortiga and free parking in the street in front of the hotel. Area surrounding the hotel is not very pleasent if you are travelling solo. Breakfast comes with fresh coffee and lots of fresh fruit. Room and bathroom are big and light. Wifi was poor.

The hotel is located in an industrial area right along a rather busy road into Syracuse. The windows in our room were opaque glass floor to ceiling and could not open because they were on street level. It felt like people on the sidewalk were actually walking through our room. The night-time noise is bad. Take ear plugs. Turn off... More

Good: Well placed hotel close to Ortigia island, city monuments and Siracusa down town. well illuminated Bad: Not a 4 stars hotel (Tripadvisor must validate hotel ranking/clasification before website admission) "Parking included" is a "find your spot in the street" parking Lack of cleaning in bathroom Poor breakfast

From the grotty neighbouring alleys, frequented by fish traders 24/7, to the tired decor literally falling apart at the seams - we checked out, a day early, to get away from this "4-star" farce. Staying in 2 different rooms, both were far too small for the large, dark-wood beds, which featured knee-bashing legs, we constantly banged into. We tried the... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever been. Not because the cleanlines, the staff or the situation, they were great, but because the terrible noise existing in the room. Room 101 is next to a compressor or industrial equipment that makes the worst noise I have had when trying to sleep. The staff said that could not do anything... More

We stayed for one night. It is nicely furnished, beautiful bathroom, three towels for each one. You get shampoo-shower, intimate soap, sewing kit etc etc. the breakfast was one of the best in sicily. It was the first one with some vegetables and washed and peeled ananas and strawberries. Even coffee from a jug was ok. There was ricotta cheese... More

This hotel is close to train station, though somewhat confusing to find (study the location in advance on google maps). They allowed us to check in early. Location is great: close to the Ortigia neighborhood and walking distance to the archeological park sights. Clean room with comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. A grocery store is about 5 mins... We got the hotel as part of a travel deal and we were surprised of the good location very near the bus and train stations and the wonderful breakfasts. We got very good information and help from the personnal at the desk that were very friendly. The only disadvantage we found was the missing lobby that was only some chairs... More
