This hotel is located between both main streets in Palermo - the rooms were generous and really well appointed. The buffet breakfast was magnificent and could ruin your appetite for the whole day if you gave into the temptations that were lined up across two walls. Staff on the front desk were always helpful whenever we had questions. A great...

The Grand Hotel Wagner (€125/room/night) turned out to be a very good choice. I liked the location on the border of both the old and new cities. It’s located one block off busy Via Roma on a quieter street and just a couple of blocks from the Via Principe di Belmonte, a pedestrian street with upscale cafès and shops. The...

we stayed in the suite at the second floor, the room was gorgeous, ancient fornitures, great decorations a lot of gold and magnificent courtains!jacuzzi in the bathroom made it even more confortable. the rooms are very quite and the location is fantastic! in the very center, close to the best shops in Palermo, close to night life but in a...

We stayed for our honeymoon. Our room was very clean. We stayed in a regular room. The bathroom had a standup shower marble everywhere and very clean. The buffet breakfast we thought was good. Some of these reviews seem like the people are rude. Not all places are going to be exactly what we are used to in our own...

I am writing after a very disappointing experience with the Grand Hotel Wagner in Palermo. I was staying in the Aeolian Isles for three weeks working and the one night stay in Palermo at the end of the trip was meant to be the celebratory culmination. However, it was one of the most disappointing stays I have ever had in...

A real 5 star has to have a pool... so it is not a 5 star. Fitness facilities do practically not exist, wellness/massage is offered. Hotel Wagner has an excellent reputation in Palermo. Staff is helpfull and knowlegeable. Rooms are good - too much gold for my taste. Overall a very good address in Palermo!

We just returned from a 12 day vacation in Palermo, Sicily where we stayed at the Hotel Grand Wagner. What a great place to stay! Location was ideal, breakfast buffet was ok, not too much variety. Room was lovely and the bathroom was excellent! Hotel staff friendly and helpfull. Overall a great experience.

I am always a little relucant to stay at an unbranded hotel with the word "Grand" in the title - especially if you book it sight unseen and over the internet. Well what a fabulous hotel the Grand Wagner Hotel is Palermo, the rooms are big, comfortable and of a 5 star level - they are sparkling clean. The staff...

My luggage was lost when I arrived in Palermo and the front desk was very helpful in helping me track it down. Thankfully it arrived late the next day. Room was fine, bed was confortable, good air conditioning and good breakfast (better than most). Lood location.

The hotel was all red and gold opulence, pleasant enough, but the staff wasn't very friendly and some things were just plain weird... I needed a corkscrew for a bottle of wine, so I asked for one at the front desk. I was directed to the bar where the bartender begrudgingly lent me his ONLY ONE. Was I the first...
