We arrived at the apartment and the lady of the house was on appointment, but also an other friend in the bedroom ...a big cockroach. Sorry but the appartement was not clean and so was the bedding and the shower. The night fights in the building and on the street were loud and scared us a bid. We stayed only...

We stay regularly since 2006 in ArtePalermo. The B & B has the best location for Palermo. The rooms are clean and nice. There is a wonderful roof terrace for breakfast or a glass of wine. Marjolein is a Dutch artist and speaks several languages. Almost all tips for Palermo, we have from her. She is the best host you...

We stayed in Marjoleins B&B for two nights and we loved it. Our room was light and spacious decorated with Some beautiful paintings. Marjolein was really friendly and adviced us about some really nice places to visit. Location is great, right in the middle of Palermo. This is not your average B&B but we felt quite at home.

No airs, you can feel right at home! This was my first time staying overnight in Palermo and it was really fine. 10 minute walk from the train station, typical old building, a warm welcome with fresh fruit and a drink, large spacious rooms and a hot shower.

This nice B&B is right in the heart of the old center of Palermo, so ideally situated for all your sight seeing and in the middle of street markets and near chic restaurants. Full up choice. The B&B is cozy and Marjolein makes you feel straight away at home and advises you on where to go and what to do....

This is a short review of the plusses and minusses of the independent appartment: + Location, although located a small dirty street.. Space: bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and rather large roof terrace Price is rather low (55€/night in high season) Host is multi languaged - Appartment was a little dirty, hairs from previous guests on the ground, doubts whether the bed...

This is the second time we stayed at ArtePalermo. It's location is close to all that's great about Palermo's historical centre, the food markets, the historical pallazzi, the shopping. The stairs were a task but not a problem. Marjolein is a very helpful hostess, sitting us down with a complementary city map and asking us what we were interested in....

The B&B is situated on the 4th floor of an old building. Don' t expect an elegant entrance, or an elevator; you are now in the heart of Palermo. The rooms are basic but clean. The beds are OK and you can enjoy the home made art of host Marjolein. Upon arrival she tells you all about the way of...

(even wher to buy a shirt from FC Palermo.) We like authentic places and in Arte Palermo that is what you get. A...

Positives: friendly host (dutch lady) and her dog, spacious room and relatively clean, very arty, good value Negatives - up 7 flights of stairs, breakfast was basic, not in a very nice part of Palermo (seemed scary out at night)
