es indeed, it's petite, with a charming interior and in the centre of the city. But for the more demanding traveller it takes a little bit more than some "Elle Deco" furniture to think this is the best place to stay in Palermo. First of all, the owners are not present so they put very "I couldn't care less staff"...

what a nice surprise, right in the center of the old town, a very spacious and clean room with a nice breakfast on a terrace, for a very decent €150. Rosana the host is very warm and nice and gave us all the tips and info we needed. Don't hesitate.

I found the hotel in an airplane magazine and, liking the description, decided to book it. I really like the design of the bed and breakfast. The people who run/own this bed and breakfast seemed nice but a bit disorganized. When we arrived, it seemed the male owner could not find our reservation although we had corresponded with him several...

Palermo is a difficult city to get around as a tourist; many streets have no footpaths and as a pedestrian you're forced onto the road, there's alot of roadworks and building renovations, and the public transport is not particularly practical for hopping around the main tourist sites. So it was a great blessing that after a tiring day dodging cars,...

I booked this through i-escape.com and was not disappointed. This is a very upmarket B&B (rather than a boutique hotel), with nice staff and great breakfasts (fantastic freshly squeezed orage juice!). The location is very good, quiet and near the music schools of the university, and you can easliy walk everywhere. We stayed in the suite with the bath with...

Very nice atmosphere and very convenient location. Staff was very helpful, suggesting for instance excellent sicilian wines to buy. The decoration was quite inspiring, modern but with barocco elements paying tribute to the magnificent religious art you find in Palermo and elsewhere in Sicily. Large rooms and bathroom and a nice balcony, which we haven't use due to the hot...

I can't believe no one commented on the smell. Our group of 7 arrived to a find a horrific smell wafting up the central stair well. Had we not previously booked the b&b we would have found other lodging. Rossana acknowledged the smell and said it would be taken care of the next morning. The next morning a septic cleaning...

An OK stay for a bed and breakfast. Breakfast and welcome were a bit thin but all in all quite smart , up-to-date and clean for the price - but think before going to Palermo - lots of litter, grim city and my handbag was snatched. As was another visitor's. An unpromising start to out tour of Siciliy.

We stayed in BB22 for five nights, bookending a stint in the Aeolian Islands. Our overall experience was good. Vito and Rosanna corresponded very helpfully on email to help book us in, and arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport. We experienced two rooms - the Gold room (see earlier negative reviews) and Mandarino. Both were...

We stayed just for one night after a 10-day trip round Sicily as we were getting a flight from Palermo early the next day. It was perfect for what we needed - Huge room, gorgeous shower and a great location. The owner booked us a taxi for our trip the next day and made reservations for dinner in the restaurant...
