I totally agree with all the other positive comments reviewers have given about this hotel. The room was really nice - tastefully decorated, large and with a lot of conveniences - even a scale in the bathroom. Despite facing a busy street and the plaza in front of the theater, the room was quiet. It was really a delight staying...

Situated across the square from the amazing Teatro Massimo, the Massimo Plaza Hotel has beautiful accommodations, very comfortable rooms, and a delicious free breakfast. A true Palermo experience. I highly recommend a stay at this elegant hotel.

First, there is a massive flight of steep stairs just to get to reception - I don't see anywhere stating this hotel is unsuitable for guests with mobility difficulties. Second, having negotiated the stairs with a heavy suitcase, I was shown to a room that was shabby to say the least. The foul musty smell in the room was overpowering....

The rooms 109 and 111 provide the best views of the public square and the opera house, the rooms were quiet even with the activity outside, comfortable and clean. The staff was excellent, they provided travel service from the airport and a tour cross country to Taormina, special praise for Alessandra-our tour service guide. The prices were clearly spelled out...

Hotel located at the second floor of a historical building. Beautifully furnished very large room looking at Piazza Giuseppe Verdi. Friendly staff. Breakfast just enough; coffee very good. On the expensive side for a hotel in Palermo.

Although comparatively new, this boutique hotel directly across from Teatro Massimo, the magnificent opera house, is a charming throwback to circa 1950s in many ways. Sweet and comfortable accommodations, a fabulous staff at one's beck and call. Breakfast couldn't be better or more accommodating, thanks to the delightful Antonella. Special thanks to Gianluca, Daniele, Luciano, Francesca, Piero, and others whose...

the room is large, the breakfast tasty and the bed comfortable. The pillows were too flat...our only complaint. The hotel is very quiet, located across from Teatro Massimo. It is walking distance to all the sights.
