Amazing hotel, rooms are outstanding. Breakfast and hotel service were beyond our expectations. The offer was amazing, we stayed 3 nights, and third night was for free. We may recommand this hotel as a best stay in Palermo. Keep the good work.

A friend and I stayed in this hotel for two days as part of an archaeological tour of southern Italy and Sicily. Our room was HUGE, as was the bathroom and closet space. While the traditional decor might not be to everybody's taste, it still exuded elegance and style. Palermo is a bit rundown in the area where the hotel... More

Although my first impression of the hotel room was disappointing, mainly due to the website photos that had made the rooms look far grander, I came to appreciate this hotel for all its positive features. It is located in a good neighborhood for restaurants and cafés on nearby Bellemonte, a pedestrian promenade. The public rooms were very impressive, especially the... More

Very nice hotel, great location, staff is very friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the ancient building with its spacy rooms and charming furniture. The breakfast was super with a wide varity of bakery and fruits.

Stayed in the Hotel for a week and was very enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and the hotel interior is very nice especially the breakfast room. We had a superior bedroom on the 4th which was clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast was one plenty of options only complaint would be that the staff are very slow at restocking when... More

This hotel located in the center of historic Palermo once was a magnificent structure. The hotel is still very nice with large well appointed rooms, great breakfast and staff. However, she does need a little TLC. The hallway carpets are worn and the public ares could use a little sprucing up. But still a beautiful, comfortable stay.

This place must be one hundred years old and was/is maintained in that same style, which is fine. What disturbed me was the dirty carpet in the hallways and rooms. The food was good as it is generally everywhere. Service of the front desk and valet was superior. With a little love and some money this could be a Grand... More

It is a pity to see old hotels tire without a fresh injection of capital to maintain their grandeur, but that is the case here. Apart from a couple of old unsmiling faces on the front desk, the staff and service was good. Far too many appear too serious - and in fact bored! The suite we had was very... More

Good points: Centrally located. Crisp white bedding. Comfortable bed. Bad points. Worn out and stained carpet in corridors and bedroom. Old scratched furniture in bedroom. Chunky old fashioned T.V. Flaking paintwork on bedroom window/door.

It is obvious that this hotel has had tremendous charm and character at some time, plenty of traces of its fading beauty are still left. The hotel is conveniently located close to the center of Palermo, front desk staff was (mostly) very friendly and helpful. The rooms are of decent size and pleasantly furnished, beds and bedding are very comfortable.... More
