When I first arrived in Palermo I was a bit scared of the city. But then after checking in at the B&B Novecento, Dario gave me several tips: where to eat, where to go, what to avoid, bus/trains lines, and so forth. I felt like in home right away then. Dario is a really great person and the B&B itself...

My wife and I stayed for only four nights but we fully endorse everything written in the comprehensive review "The most comfortable B&B in our 5-week-trip in southern Italy (by Free Trotter) about Novocento B&B. It is conveniently located, the accommodation is excellent, the breakfast was unusual and outstanding, and Dario was extremely helpful. What more can I say?

Novocento is a very comfortable B&B, with modern and thoughtful amenities and a classical/ historical charm and feel. Dario, the owner, was the perfect host and guide to the city. Breakfast was pleasant, with a few surprises thrown in (...homemade Strawberry Sorbet, for example!) Highly recommended overall.

Large room in this clean central BnB. Bathrooms updated but unfortunately down the hall and not ensuite. Dario was a superb navigator for us and when he did not know something was good in looking it up. The breakfast included a fruit tart, yogurt, fresh fruit and good coffee. Being city central means more city noise so I used ear...

I recently booked a room here for 6 nights and couldn't have been more happier. Dario is an excellent host and adds extra home-made touches to the breakfast in the a.m. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, and I felt very safe staying here. Dario made great recommendations for restaurants and locations to visit. Wi-Fi is free and there is...

Dario is an incredibly kind and keen man. Every recomendation proved incredible, the rooms were great and the bathrooms clean. The prize was more than fare and the fresh breakfasts were greatly decored by his company. Strongly suggest this BB in Palermo! If you really want to feel like home in Palermo don't hesitate to book in advance.

Dropped off rental car at the airport and trained in to Palermo. Needed place within walking distance of train station. This was perfect. As noted, Dario speaks very good English and is very helpful in describing Palermo's layout, and even helped with getting the number and time for buses to get out of town to Monreale. B&B is clean, bedroom...

This B&B gives us the best comfort and experience in our 5-week trip in Southern Italy. 1. Dario is very knowledgeable about the historical and cultural sites/areas in and around the city and the necessary transportation, if any. Upon our arrival, he already had a recommended day-by-day itinerary for us, which is totally above our expectation. Despite the fact that...

The B&B is in the center, walking distance from the railway station, great location also when coming from the airport due to the presence of a connection bus. From here to visit Palermo in practice there is no need for car or public transportation. Rooms are nice and clean, wifi included in the price, quiet and with private bathrooms (private...

The place is centrally located---less than three blocks from the train station. We walk to most of the sights in the city, and to the famous street market. The rooms are clean and spacious (we stayed in the room with ensuite bathroom) and very quiet when you close the shutter. The breakfast is excellent. We had good bread and great...
