Just loved this hotel right in the centre of town. Old bank converted into something special. Could walk around Palermo day or night and then come back to this wonderful place. Great restaurant, bar, surrounds and staff. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
We spent a Friday night at this hotel in Palermo, en route to Taormina. Apparently some kind of a savings bank converted into a hotel, it is located on a square in a very crummy central area of the town, not far from the Cathedral,...More
Classic-style, refurbished to state-of-the-art. Great patio, good bar, spacious rooms with good bathrooms. Efficiency in the service, very professional. Great meeting rooms. Recommended for holidays and for business

as far as I recall this hotel is inside ZTL so private cars without special permits can not enter the area. If you are renting a car then contact the hotel and they will advise re parking options and permits to enter the area. We parked the rental car outside of ZTL on the street (for free) and then took a taxi to the hotel, we had car for just 2 days in Palermo to do some day trips. The taxi fare was not much more than parking inside ZTL and paying for the permit (daily?) plus for parking itself.
